This plant is believed to be a cross between early and late flowering forms and the result is a plant which flowers intermittently from May to November. Each pure white petal has a distinct grey-blue streak along the reverse, so when in bud, or when the flowers nod and half close (in the mornings and evenings) the flowers look bluish, but when they are fully open they are a dazzling pure white. Ideal for the woodland garden or partially shaded bed, where its long flowering will delight.

Our Open Days are now a major event in the gardening calendar, this year our Spring Rare Plant and Bulb Day is on February 25th. HYDRANGEA PANICULATA DIAMANT ROUGE
When they first appear, the petal-like sepals are white, but they soon start to change colour, first to pink and then a deeper shade of rich raspberry red. These flower heads appear in profusion on strong stems and can grow up to 35cm in length. Tree Lily Collection Tree lilies are the breathtaking result of years of painstaking breeding; these incredible varieties of Oriental lily can grow as tall as 2.5m (8ft) in as little as two years. Everyone wanted the one plant we had; we now have a limited stock available for the first time. Golden full moon maple is a choice and sought after small tree which is perfect for the smaller garden. In spring the buds open to reveal intensely bright lemon yellow foliage. As the leaves mature they will soften and Bright red helicopter-like seeds are prominently nestled in the foliage and will remain colorful well into summer. In autumn, the tree is dotted in tones of orange and red. The slow growth and unique framework makes it an excellent choice for containers.

NEW RARE ITOH HYBRID PEONIES. As Many as Over 200 blooms per plant!
The most beautiful of all flowering plants. Itoh Peonies are rare and unusual hybrids between Garden Peonies and Tree Peonies, a cross between herbaceous and tree peonies. In 1948 a Japanese nurseryman, Toichi Itoh, succeeded in crossing a hybrid tree peony with a herbaceous peony. He unfortunately passed away before any had flowered. All may have been lost but for an American horticulturist who obtained permission from Itoh’s widow to patent four of
the plants in the 1960’s. These plants caused a terrific stir! There are now several varieties, all highly sought after by collectors, and generally very expensive some of the first roots sold over $1,000 . Yet they are very easy to grow and very Hardy . They begin flowering in the first or second year in your garden and will continue for centuries. Peonies are the longestlived perennials of all, a lifetime investment in the beauty of your garden. When established they will produce over 200 blooms per plant.
