BLACKBERRY LITTLE BLACK PRINCE

A breakthrough in the breeding of blackberries for gardens and patios, it is thornless, it does not need a cumbersome support (because its shoots are stable and upright) and it bears fruit directly on this year’s canes. And most importantly, Little Black Prince already bears large, regularly shaped, tasty, blackberries from the beginning of July and the harvest does not cease until the first frosts. And then there is another advantage in which this new blackberry variety from the Lubera breeding programme differs from all other blackberries: it is extremely compact and does not grow higher than 70-100cm. This makes it ideal for using as a potted plant on a balcony or terrace.

BOYSENBERRIES

TAYBERRY

A cross between a raspberry and blackberry, the loganberry is generally slightly longer than a raspberry with a juicier and sharper flavour. Berries should be allowed to darken to a deep purple colour before picking to obtain the best flavoured fruit. Loganberry plants are sturdy and more disease and frost resistant than many other berry varieties and as berries of varying maturity may grow on a single plant, it will usually produce fruit throughout August and September. Plants continue to fruit for around 15 years.

From U.S. ,this hybrid berry is a cross between a blackberry, loganberry and raspberry and is very easy to grow. Round to oblong, reddish-purple fruits have a unique flavour that combine the tartness of good old-fashioned wild blackberries with a sweet hint of raspberry. Delicious used for bramble and apple jelly or pie fillings. Can also be eaten fresh. Ready to harvest July to September.

That’s different with Lucky Berry®: from July to October it carries sweet fruits and these are constantly ripening. So there is enough time to taste, snack and harvest. The Lucky Berry® is also suitable for the balcony and is

therefore perfect for the domestic kitchen. The healthy snack with vitamin E and C is a small sweet delight for every guest in their own realm. FIG TWO TIMER

ICE PEACH

Unlike most figs, which crop once in mid-late summer on last year’s shoots, this one crops from mid August on last year’s shoots, but again from the end of September on this year’s shoots! And they’re deliciously sweet and tasty. A very productive variety for the Irish climate. Figs will bring a Mediterranean flavour to your garden, combining handsome foliage with a tasty and bountiful harvest. They’re vigorous plants, so growth should be limited by restricting the roots to a large container (which will also encourage fruit formation). This variety is strong-growing and quick to start fruiting and, once mature, will withstand the coldest winters.

Produces ivory white skinned and fleshed peaches with a sweet flavour. Just released to gardeners in 2017, the fruit starts yellow, and ripens white, and stores very well once picked. Amazing spring pink blossom too, grow in a large pot in warm sunny spot. Grafted onto a dwarf rootstock, which grows a compact bush that will not exceed 1.5m.

Botanical Crocus are the first of the early spring flowers. After planting, they need no care and will come up year after year. Our mixture is blended in our own shop to ensure you receive 8 varieties.

There is always room for these versatile little charmers. They’re among the earliest-blooming of all spring flowers, and their shorter height makes them ideal for borders, rock gardens, under trees, and in tubs and containers.
