Welcome Everyone! This 4th annual exhibition was made possible by fifteen hard-working artists who attended the Paint in Oils and Acrylics course, made possible by the Fairfax County Park Authority Fine Arts Program. “Light and Shadows” is the main theme of the art show this year. The sun flares’ energy re imagines what we know of the color spectrum. White light, blue sky, or blue ocean are not immediately tangible, but are transformed into reality through human-idealized colors. From us, these seventy-five pieces of work demonstrate the combination of oil and acrylic mediums. The various subject matters, contexts, painting styles, and interpretations are very important movements to us whether they are realistic or not. We hope that “Art Talks” will speak to our viewers’ perspectives on student art pieces according to their personal and individual art history, and experiences. Finally, with sincere gratitude and in recognition of their efforts, many thanks to the FCPA as well as all the participants who submitted wonderful works of art. Paint in oil and acrylic class 2016 Students and Instructor Jahee Oh
