Pioners
Pioneers settled in the west for many reasons.they were gold and land and many more reasons. “They turned their heads to the land of golden promise.”The population grew and grew and grew.It expanded our contrey alot and canged our world forevre. One day my tribe was living peacefully until a white man showed up and made us leave our homes to go to small areas of land.We had no say in what was to happen to us,we went to school and spoke white man language instead of ours. That's how my life changed because of white man.
Chapter 2: The Native Americans The natives wanted to live in peace but we wanted to move west thats where are problem starts. For a while the pioneers lived in peace with the natives but more people moved west and we needed more space to live so we needed to move the natives so that we could have space to live. the natives did not like this at all. They Needed to go to r eservations but did not want to go so they fought to not go but they lost. They were forced to reservations. the most impacted by this where the cree, cherokee ,lakota, sioux and blackfoot . The natives lives were never the same again. Who where the natives that where the natives that were impacted by this where the Apache, blackfoot ,cherokee chickasaw, cree, inuit, cheyenne and the sioux. They were all impacted in different ways. They lived in reservations, did not have their main food source and lived on poor soil.So they fought for land. The pioneers took over their lives and forced them to go to school, speak english and forced them on to reservations. This started in 1814 when the government passed the indian removal act. They used the military to force them out and now they are not roaming free anymore infact there are almost no buffalo anymore either. 3
Chapter 3: What effect did the natives have on us and the USA We treated the natives with disrespect and now we can't change that. That's what you should learn from this paper. That everyone deserves to be treated with respect. We are all human we all have feelings. I mean how would you like to be told what to do and be treated like a slave just because you are different from everyone else.We can't help but to be us. This inpacted us to ,the indains atacted us first thats what started makeing us enemies. So are you on the natives side or the pioner side wich evre side this had a big impact on westward expansion and theres no sides on that! 4
