STAGE ONE: EGG Ladybugs start life as a egg. A few days later the eggs open up as tiny creatures. One ladybug can lay 1,000 eggs during her lifetime. The egg looks like a tiny yellow jellybean.


Stage Two: Larva Ladybug are tiny shiny and dressed in a spotted coat.Ladybug have six legs.To pair of wing one pair of wings are hard. The wings protect other pairs of wings. That is fragile and used for flying.


Stage Three: Pupa After a few weeks the larva stops moving and attaches itself to a leaf. Then it is a pupa. A pupa is a like a wrapped-up present. In about one week the pupa breaks open. At first the ladybug is soft and pale. Soon the ladybug is able to spread its wings and fly.


Stage Four: Grown-up There are more than 4,000 kinds of ladybugs in the world. Some ladybugs are brown, gold some are even sunny yellow. During the sunny days ladybugs eat lots of aphids and small insects. Then they hide under leaves, rocks, or logs to sleep all winter. In spring , the ladybugs wake up and the females lay eggs. After that, the incredible ladybug. Then it starts all over again.


How do Ladybugs Survive? In a early  stages of their lives.Ladybug require water to survive, as they grow in the water source comes from eating insent larvae.Ladybug can like in a variety of places and climates.But must find shelter during cold weather.


What do Ladybugs Eat? Ladybug have soft bodies like mites white flies and soale insents all of which are pests of plants.These Aphids are a serious plant pest.Ladybugs mainly eat aphids.
