STAGE ONE: NEWBORN The first stage of a tiger's life cycle is newborn. If a predator finds where the Newborn lives they will die. Predator a animal who lives by killing other animals for food. The mother carries one by one the newborn in her mouth. There are usually two to four newborn’s in a litter. Newborn cubs typically weigh between 2 to 3 pounds. The newborn’s are born with their eyes closed.They depend on their mother for food and protection.

STAGE TWO: CUB When the cubs are 6 weeks old. They come out of the den. They learn to hunt. They watch their mom stalk prey. The cubs like to fight/play for to learn to hunt.

STAGE THREE: YOUNG TIGER When young tigers are old enough the mother goes to find a new habitat. Habitat a place where a person or animal lives. Young tigers play together after they try to find habitats themselves. Young tigers live with their mothers until they are two years old.

STAGE FOUR: ADULT TIGER A tigress finds a spot to hide the cubs from predators. If the predator finds the den the cubs will die.The mother gives birth in the den to the cubs. The mother licks the cubs to keep them clean.
