How have workers continued to struggle for better working conditions and have they succeeded We think the recent struggle for better working conditions has been successful for most american workers due to the low amount of unemployment in america and higher wages. New laws enforcing good working conditions are being put in place and many workers are getting more vacations sometimes even with pay. Hardships for workers: So we faced hard working conditions by the way that that the building that we worked in was not sanitary. We also faced the condition that the buildings are not in good shape. We also work in a dangerous places. The machines that we are given to make the products are not good at all. The jobs that they are making us do are unethical. We also don’t get payed very good for the amount of hours that we work. We also spend a lot of time away from our families. We also had children working in the factories and they were almost too young to work. The children that are working are working as long as we are a day. Despite these hardships, here are the ways workers are succeeding in getting better working conditions:

Workers protested for higher wages and went on strikes

â—?

Progressives like Upton Sinclair helped by writing and publishing The Jungle, which helped expose bad working conditions and caused the gov to pass the Meat Inspection Act and the Food and Drug act which led to the formation of Food and Drug administration

Evaluate the success of workers-should workers continue to do this? The workers succeeded by going on strike. There was no one doing their jobs so no work was getting done, thus business owners were forced to give them what they wanted or their business would burn to the ground. If workers were to continue to do this then they would get whatever it is that they want, so they should keep on protesting and going on strikes Concluding paragraph- In conclusion, we think that we are succeeding in our strike for better working conditions. We think in the years to come the conditions that we are working in will go away and will be better for all of the people that work here after we leave. In the factory we have less kids working and if they are they aren't here as long as we are. We are also getting better pay and we are getting more hours that we asked for and getting payed for those hours.

What should workers be fighting for in the 1920’s? What should workers be fighting for in the 1920’s? American workers should be fighting for higher pay. Since the employer’s job is to hire and pay workers, they paid workers very little, and kept the rest of the money for themselves. This led to workers protesting and going on strikes. Many americans would lose their jobs for protesting so it was difficult for them to fight. The worker’s fear of losing their jobs and reaching rock bottom would cripple them from fighting for what they wanted. Workers are fighting to end immigration employment. There was a myth that all immigrants were taking every job so they fought to keep them out. This made many americans tremble, mainly the lower class. This led to the passage of the Chinese Exclusion Act. The Chinese Exclusion Act prohibits all immigration of chinese laborers. It also allows the U.S. to suspend chinese immigration. Most american workers should fight for better working conditions. The working conditions that they work in are terrifying and the fact that children work there is horrible. Because workers are so afraid of protesting, it’s up to progressives to help expose these conditions to the public. Workers are fighting for child labor. Children are working in unsafe working conditions for long hours and low pay. This is bad because they need to focus on education instead of their job.

Is a production line line henry ford's good or bad for workers.

The topic that i have is that is a production line line henry ford's good or bad for workers. There is pros and cons to everything in the production world the henry ford production line was good for getting more products out the door faster but not always safer.

So in my opinion i don't think that the henry ford production line was good for workers. For just some of the reasons that i gave you. I mean there is more bad reasons than there is good. If they were to just stick with the assembly line they were using they would of had better products and better working conditions. They would probably be able to make more money and better quality products if they weren't using the henry ford production line.

The pros to the henry ford production line is that they are able to get more products out of the factory so they can make more money. They also are able to give more people work in the factory. If they weren't able to use the production line like fords they would not be as efficient in the industrial world.

Even though there is pros to the henry ford production line there is going to be cons. One of the cons are the production line was not the safest. The workers would be standing is like oil and water as they worked. They would also be put on working for some many hours that they would fall asleep. They would also have machines that would break down on them so then they could not work. They would also need to use old machines that were broken down and barely worked.

Were 1920s presidents good for american workers No because they weren't in fact they were well known for not doing anything at all, most of them anyway. they preached about fixing America's economy and yet they did nothing, not nothing but almost nothing. Many of the presidents supported the economy but not the workers, the few things they did do did not help workers at all. They gave businesses more power expecting them to run the government for them (again laziness) and big businesses don't care about their workers if one leaves another unemployed
