由於歷史遺產的累積以及文化的全球化發展, 現今對於「現實」的表現,已鮮少具有一致性, 而是趨向多層次的解讀方式。一個圖像不再 是單一意象或內涵之載體,但有能力解讀出 其中衍生性意義的觀者卻是少數。由此可知, 當觀者所熟稔的認知系統失效時,對於映入 眼簾的圖像,會本能地從自身的生命情感經 驗中,找尋最合適的解讀方法,就如同數學公 式般,遵循一定的序列和規律解出答案。其中 最重要的,是觀察圖像如何引領我們 ─ 無論 是藝術家自身抑或觀者,皆能由單一圖像推 演至其他圖像的能力。於是我嘗試混合油畫 與素描、創作圖中圖的圖像,搭配我直接加在 畫面上的片段文字,又如同我的作品名稱一 般,表達了我內心建構現實的歷程。

I elaborate on the observation that, due to the accumulation of historical heritages and to the globalization of culture, today's representations of rea lit y have become less consistent and more layered. An image can no longer stand by its own for a specific meaning or, if it does, fewer viewers are able to pinpoint the intended interpretation. When recognition fails, a reliable retreat is the formulation of a visual progression, similar to the mathematical sequence, in which, the most important is to study the reasoning that conducts us, artist and viewers, from one image to another. I experiment with combinations of paintings and drawings, pictures-in-pictures type of images and mental constructs of reality triggered by fragments of text I add directly on the painting surface or as titles to my works.

安娜•瑪瑞亞•米庫(Ana Maria Micu)與卡塔林• 皮特里瑟(Cătălin Petrișor)作為創作夥伴已有十餘 年,他們相互合作卻同時為獨立的創作個體,兩 人藉由繪畫發展一種互補協作的方式來表達對於 現實世界的感知。他們選擇與混亂且分散的羅馬 尼亞藝術圈切割,待在陽光明媚的小鎮克拉約瓦 (Craiova)生活與創作;在那裡,他們擁有的是自我 和創作,以及小心翼翼地捍衛自身的神聖祕境,對 於現實的獨特性以及個人思維、感性、與恆變性的 形成與發展,皆抱持著一種強烈且複雜的迷戀,在 哲學意涵中稱之為神祕客體(mystère des objets)。 本次展覽的概念是一個相對抽象、矛盾的實驗,兩 位藝術家基於個人不同的視覺詮釋,想像自己在暫 時失明的狀態下,被純粹的慾望驅動,記錄在過去 某個特定時間點的記憶,但同時加諸了因距離而模 糊的情感詮釋。在藝術的表現上,想像失明的狀態 近乎威廉•詹姆斯(William James)於 1890 年創造出 來的意識流敘事模式 ,那是一種常見於現代文學 著作的敘事手法,例如維吉妮亞•吳爾芙的《戴 洛維夫人》(Mrs. Dalloway)、詹姆斯•喬伊斯的《尤 利西斯》(Ulysses)最終章與威廉•布洛夫《赤裸午 餐》(Naked Lunch)。 藝術家透過用類似的詮釋手法來強調客體的各種 面向,所有情緒與意識的流轉也因此完全地與周遭 現實環境尖銳又具有暗示性的描述相結合。有了 這個簡單卻深入的方式,客體的神祕性自然地展現 於不明自清的事實裡,愈發使人想要深入探索。 展覽的創新之處在於作品的呈現是從單一創作者 的記憶出發,卻發展出情感並列的狀態連結,以及 兩個個別影像間的物理疊加與拼鏈。正因我們無 法確認哪個畫面是現實所處的當下,所以圖像中探 討的意識充滿了趣味,也觸及所謂的平行現實的 當代概念。 米庫與皮特里瑟藉由一系列的繪畫作品,呈現平行 現實世界與那些闖入他們熟悉環境的陌生怪誕客 體,進而探索內在的自我。短暫失明只是一個選擇

性的問題,而非一個不受控制,令人沮喪的事實。 您只需選擇您想要看到的。 在持續改變的框架下,尤其在 60、70 年代迅速發 展的照相寫實主義(Photorealism)以降,繪畫逐漸向 形式的正確性與極盡保真之責的方向發展,而當 時的藝術家們,則是為了站在反對的立場以及略 具攻擊性的現實中,保有自身的靈魂。為詮釋鮑德 里亞 (Baudrillard) 於 1981 年的著作《擬仿物與擬像》 (Simulacra and Simulation ) 中闡述的論點,這裡表現的 是去模擬一件從未存在過的事件,使之如可見客 體的樣貌般出現於二維的畫布之上。 在米庫與皮特里瑟互補的繪畫作品中,每個客體都 與他們息息相關,借代且象徵了他們生活的部份片 斷,所有的主體與客體在他們兩人建構的世界中是 如此和諧的並存,與時間一同向前邁進。

策展人簡介 Simona Vilau(1983-) 是一位策展人與藝術評論者,目 前工作與生活於布加勒斯特(Bucharest)。過去幾年 中她參與許多的藝術項目,包括策展、研究以及自 己和藝術家合作的項目。同時她也是羅馬尼亞網上 平台 Artbank 的創立者,並且從事關於羅馬尼亞當 代藝術中暴力圖像的博士後研究。

我的繪畫是藉由編輯、分解攝影,所產出接 近零落差的演繹,有些照片是我自己所拍攝 的,有些則是平日的收集與發現。我開始透過 照片的編輯,去感知我利用操作影像結構而 形成的特定「現實」,同時自我實現。我對於 虛幻的空間特別感興趣:在嚴謹的佈局協助 下,人們藉由改變形式,輕易創造出新的空間 維度。對於一直以來質疑著現實圖像與其存 在的理由的我來說,這是非常矛盾的。 觀察是我作品中最重要的支柱,由於當代圖 像讓我們進入一種膽怯的狀態,當人們鎖定 一個圖像時,我們內在的信仰同時遭受箝制, 並且默默地隨著每一寸目光的移動與凝視而 有所改變。由於當今的媒體發達與科技日新 月異,我們所處的世界被圖像所包圍,要辨別 什麼是原模、複製品與擬像物變得極為困難。 經操作後的再現物,對觀者而言可以很輕易 地產生親近感與信任感。但對我來說,繪畫 才是鑑定真實的途徑。 在我眾多創作,有一核心手法是在已完成的 繪畫上描疊上用石墨勾勒出的線條或是圖 騰。這是我自己恣意對創作形式的刻意破壞, 同時表現出這個世界的多樣與多面性,告訴 大家事物存在的多元向度,而非如同眼見一 般地僅是非黑即白的二元面向。

“reality” I wish to present as directly generated by the manipulation of the image's structure, as a selffulfilling prophecy. I am interested in the illusionist space: the situation in which, with the help of the most discreet interventions, one can alter a form to the point of creating a new dimension. It is paradoxically through representation that I am searching for the status of questioning the reality of the image and the reasons of its existence. T he s u pp or t of my work i s t he obser v a t ion t h a t contemporary imagery puts us in a state of awe and as we are targeting the image, our inner core is also targeted and slightly changes with our every gaze. Because media and technology became so advanced, because we live in fact within the image world, it became difficult to orientate between model, copy and simulacra. Manual reproduction presents the viewer with an approachable, trustworthy depiction. Painting is a method to authenticate. One of my practice essentials is to overlap contour drawings made in graphite on finished paintings. It is a form of vandalism directed at my own authority, presenting the multidimensionality of this world and pointing out that there are several possible directions, that things are not unambiguous or dual, but have many faces.
