Advice “Always ask for, and openly accept, help. Teaching our students is a group effort. A single individual alone cannot successfully achieve this task. No matter how many years we have been teaching, how many degrees we have, or how much training we have received, each and every one of us, at some point, needs help. Never be too proud to ask. Never be too cocky to listen. There are times to stand at the front and lead, just as there are times to take a seat and listen.” – Carol King, 2015 HHS Teacher of the Year

"Being a new teacher can be overwhelming, but knowing that a caring staff is there to help is reassuring. My number one piece of advice is to just ask for help. Don't assume, don't over do, don't take on too much, just ask for help! It doesn't make you less of a teacher or weak, it makes you responsible." - Candace Warren, English Teacher
