Getting Started

If you are an HEI official, administrator, faculty or staff who is interested in submitting a Project Proposal for the ​Institutional Development and Innovation (IDI) Grants to contribute in strengthening the qualifications and capacity of your higher education institution (HEI), and ensure its quality and long-term sustainability, and in preparation for the first cohort of K to 12 graduates in 2018, inform your HEI K to 12 Online Portal Administrator to invite you as a Proponent for the IDI Grants. The ​HEI K to 12 Online Portal Administrator shall need the following details from you: ● ● ● ● ●

Your Full Name Your Designation Your Telephone Number Your Mobile Number Your Email Address


Quick Guide for HEI K to 12 Online Portal Administrators: How to Invite Proponents 1. Visit ​online.chedk12.com

2. ​ ​Log-in​ ​ using your HEI K to 12 Administrator user account details


3. Go to​ ​ ​IDIG​ ​ ​Menu​ ​ >​ ​ ​Proponent .​


4. Click Create New .

5. Input the proponent details in the Proponent Form.


6. Click Save & Send Invite. to register and notify the Proponent.


Quick Guide for IDIG Proponents: How to Submit Concept Paper 1. Check your email to view the Proponent Invitation notification. Click the link provided in the email to proceed to the Proponent Activation Sheet.

2. Fill-out all necessary fields.



3. Review all information provided and then click ​ ​Submit​ ​.


4. A notification will be sent to your registered email once you have successfully activated your Proponent Account.

5. To start crafting your Concept Paper, visit the K to 12 Online System for Grants at online.chedk12.com ​and click ​ ​Login​ ​ under HEI and Faculty section.


6. ​Log-in to the K to 12 Online System for Grants using your Proponent Account details.


7. Go to ​ ​Concept Paper​ ​ and click ​ Add Concept Paper​ ​.

8. Fill out all necessary fields in the Concept Paper Form. The Contact Person should be the Project Lead.


9. Click ​ ​Save​ ​ and choose ​ ​OK​ ​.​ ​to save Concept Paper.


10. Click ​ ​Print​ ​ to view and download/print the filled-out Concept Paper form. You may choose to log-out of the portal after downloading or printing Concept Paper form.

11. Once the Concept Paper has been ​signed by the Project Lead and the HEI Head/President, have it scanned and then login to the portal and go back to the Concept Paper menu. Click on the Project Title to upload the signed Concept Paper. Just click the ​Choose File button to search for the document (signed Concept Paper) from your computer and begin upload.


12. Click ​ ​Submit​ ​.​ and then choose ​ ​Confirm​ ​to submit signed Concept Paper.

13. In the ​ ​Concept Paper​ ​ menu, you will find the status of your Concept Paper.


12. Once you have submitted your Concept Paper, Log-out ​of the K to 12 Online System for Grants. You may log-in anytime to view the status of your submission.

13. A message will be sent to your registered email address to notify you on the successful submission of your Concept Paper.


Post Concept Paper Submission Once the IDI Grants Technical Working Group (TWG) has evaluated the submitted Concept Paper, a notification will be sent to the Proponent’s registered email address regarding the result of the pre-screening. A separate guide on the next step of the application process will be available to all HEIs and/or its IDI Grants Proponents whose Concept Paper/s shall pass the TWG Pre-screening.

Additional Reminders The HEI K to 12 Online Portal Administrator may invite more than one (1) Proponent. An IDI Grants Proponent may submit more than one (1) Concept Paper provided that the Concept Papers are endorsed and signed by the HEI Head/President. Once a Concept Paper has been submitted, the Proponent can no longer edit the form. Review the form and make sure that all necessary details are provided before submitting. Only Concept Papers submitted via the K to 12 Online System for Grants at online.chedk12.com, within the set deadline, shall be considered for evaluation by the IDI Grants TWG.
