Feature Story: Serving the Dear Neighbor

SECOND RECIPIENT: MS. YONELY LOPEZ

During the holiday season we said thank you to Ms. Yonely Lopez, the second recipient of the Dear Neighbor Award. Yonely has been a part of the Mount community as a dedicated facilities staff member and employee of PBSProfessional Building Service, Inc. She regularly showcases the spirit of the mission and is ready to do any good work. She keeps the building looking its best with a smile on her face and shows genuine care and concern for all.

THIRD RECIPIENT: SAANAI JONES ’24

The third recipient of the Distinguished Service to the Dear Neighbor Award was Saanai Jones ’24. Saanai’s healing spirit, her gentle presence and her wise counsel are part of her contributions to her community. Saanai uses her voice thoughtfully–to serve her dear neighbor without distinction. Whether among friends or among faculty and administrators, her gifts at reconciliation are visible and appreciated.

FOURTH RECIPIENT: MR. KEVIN BOCCELLA

More commonly addressed as Mr. B. by students, Mr. Kevin Boccella is always ready for any good work. Whether adjusting lights, sound, and technology for a show or assembly, a talent search for a new colleague in the community, or coaching students through Investment Challenge competitions, the results of his work are always a win for the Mount.
