AGENTS OF TRANSFORMATION
See what a few of our Mount Agents of Transformation are doing after graduating from the Mount.
When a student enters the doors of Mount Saint Joseph Academy, she enters into a legacy of sisterhood that spans more than 165 years. Long after they leave the Mount, our alumnae share a lifelong bond with their Mount sisters. These close ties help them to navigate the winding paths of life, whether it be post-secondary educational pursuits, career exploration and networking, or marriage and family, or retirement.

“The Mount has contributed to my success through its academic rigor. By the time I was in college, I was more than prepared for the transition from a high school setting. had already developed time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, which use on a daily basis at work; developing these skills at a young age has bolstered my career advancement. The Mount also encouraged me to challenge myself in ways that I did not think possible.
I remember learning about AP classes during freshman orientation and feeling like I wouldn’t be able to handle college level courses in high school. I ended up entering my freshman year of college with 18 credits because took a number of AP classes and scored well on the exams. The Mount buoyed my sense of self and pushed me to achieve more than I thought I could.”

“In addition to being a ton of fun, the Mount offers the best academic preparation around. I was always challenged in my courses and had plenty of support from my teachers.
The most noticeable academic skill I gained from the Mount was good essay writing. I entered college with a strong foundation and confidence in writing any type of paper, and this has not gone unnoticed by my professors at college. The block scheduling format also prepared me well and I am now used to longer class durations and a 5 course semester.”
