Warlocks So you may or may not be aware that men can harness magic too! Many warlocks/ wizards have been exiled from witchood over time due to power hungry actions or actions that are harmful to witches and womankind. There are still good warlocks out there though, and several schools across the UK such as Ravenswood Academy who teach both witches and warlocks alike how to harness their powers. You must be 11-19 to attend full time education there however any age can take night classes. I currently take a potions and charm classes there, I highly recommend it to any witch or wizard who wants to learn about their craft.

Mushrooms Until 1902 magic was outlawed and witches such as myself had to conceal their powers. Using mushrooms growing in the local woods they would brew a special tea that provided a magical protection so that witch hunters, demons and other creatures of pure evil could not detect their cursed gifts. By 1960 witches were seen as a myth or fairytale and all the mortals forgot about witches and angels so they were free to live their lives so long as
they were cautious around non magic folk. Mushroom tea is still brewed for young children who are still learning how to use their gifts, this protects them as we still fear the day that the witch hunts begin again. Many witches are mixed into non magical societies and we do live amongst mortals however there are still witches of older generations who feel safer with their own kind.

The all seeing eye - a symbol for all It has a rich history and can be found in many different cultures. It is a symbol worshipped by religion, ancient civilisations such as the people of Ancient Egypt and takes on many meanings. It can be a symbol of evil and danger but to witches we recognise this symbol as power and protection and a way to harness your magic here on earth. Many witches around me have eye tattoos amongst their other various skin decorations to help them ground their power therefore making them stronger and giving them an enhanced control. However many mortals for various reasons also have an eye tattoo, marks such as these help witches blend into normal society as tattoos are currently very popular amongst mortals, especially the younger ones. 10
