Mrs. Anwar Sadat visited MSSD in April. Mrs. Sadat is the wife of the President of Egypt. She is very interested in education. Also she is interested in deaf people. Mrs. -Sadat visited some science classes. She also saw our TICCIT computer system, She went on a tour to see part of our new ¡ school building. U.S. Secret Service people went everywhere with Mrs. Sadat to protect her while she was in Washington, D.C.

The Doetor In Spite Of Himself The play was presented in June, 1977. It was a big success. Hundreds of people came to see it. "The Doctor in Spite of Himself' was the first play produced in the new MSSD auditorium. The Drama Department (Eric Malzkuhn, Tim McCarty, and Mary Yeh) produced and directed the play. Junior Varsity Boys' Basketball The Young Jayvee Boys' Basketball team won five games and lost eight in 197677. JV Coach Henry Vlug expects several of his boys will move to the Varsity team in the 1977-78 season.
