Hosting its annual Holiday Hoops Camp, MSUB opens registration for the boys and girls camp coming up at the end of December at Alterowitz Gym. BILLINGS, Mont. – Registration is now open for the Montana State University Billings Holiday Hoops Basketball Camp, which runs Dec. 27-28 at Alterowitz Gym on the university’s main campus. The camp is designed for boys and girls in grades kindergarten through eighth, and will be split up into two different sessions with separate age groups. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade will participate each day from 8:30 – 11 a.m., with sixth-through-eighth graders playing from noon – 2:30 p.m. The cost is $50 per camper, with a $10 discount per additional sibling who registers. The camp will be run by MSUB’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, and directed by Yellowjacket men’s head coach Jamie Stevens and women’s head coach Kevin Woodin.
Campers will learn fundamental skills from an expert coaching staff, and will have the chance to interact with players on both of MSUB’s teams. The camps are motor-skill appropriate, and feature individual and team competitions through the two days. A free MSUB camp t-shirt is also included in the registration costs.
