Continuing its partnership with ROOT SPORTS this season, the GNAC announces its slate of games on the regional sports television network which includes MSUB’s matchup at Saint Martin’s on Jan. 19. PORTLAND, Ore. – Returning to one of the leading regional sports television networks this season, the Montana State University Billings men’s basketball team will be featured in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Game of the Week on ROOT SPORTS on Jan. 19, the conference office announced Tuesday. The Thursday night game is at Saint Martin’s University, and will tip off at 9 p.m. Pacific time/10 p.m. Mountain time. Coverage will be available throughout the western United States on ROOT SPORTS, with a complete geographic channel guide available here. “We are always excited about the opportunity to show off the program and MSUB as a whole on television,” said MSUB head coach Jamie Stevens. “It should be a great atmosphere, as Saint Martin’s always seems to have a fun environment to play in.”
MSUB’s game is the first of three GNAC men’s games that will be featured on television this year, the eighth consecutive season that the conference has had a presence on ROOT SPORTS. Also featured this season will be Seattle Pacific at Western Oregon at 5 p.m. on Feb. 4, and Central Washington at Western Washington at 8 p.m. on Feb. 16. The Yellowjackets begin a three-game road trip Tuesday night against Chadron State, tipping off at 6 p.m. After playing at Colorado Mesa University and against Western State Colorado, MSUB will open GNAC play at home next weekend by hosting Concordia University (Dec. 3) and Western Oregon University (Dec. 5).
