With the Yellowjackets coming off of three straight road wins last week, junior point guard Kendall Denham will be featured on GNAC Insider, the conference’s weekly radio program, on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. PORTLAND, Ore. – After helping his team to three wins away from home last week, junior point guard Kendall Denham from the Montana State University Billings men’s basketball team will be featured as a live guest on GNAC Insider, the weekly radio program of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, on Tuesday evening. Tuesday’s show airs at 8 p.m. Mountain time, and is hosted by Rob Lowery of Central Washington University. Listeners can tune in live through Blog Talk Radio at this link, and the program will also be available for archived listening through a free podcast on iTunes and through MSUB’s ‘Jackets on the Radio webpage here. Playing in all seven games for MSUB this season, Denham is coming off of his best performance yet after 14 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals in MSUB’s 86-77 win over Western State Colorado last week. The junior from Malta, Mont., is averaging 6.7 points and 2.0 assists per game, while shooting 41.7 percent from the floor and a perfect 14-for-14 from the foul line.
Denham will discuss the Yellowjackets’ upcoming home games this week, as MSUB prepares to begin GNAC play. The ‘Jackets host conference opponent Concordia University (Ore.) on Saturday night at 7 p.m. and Western Oregon University on Monday night at 7 p.m. at Alterowitz Gym. MSUB enters league play with an overall record of 4-3. In addition to their win over Western State, the Yellowjackets defeated Chadron State College 89-69 and Colorado Mesa University 83-68 last week. GNAC Insider airs live every Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. Mountain time.
