Van Zellers & Co. was founded as a Port Wine company in 1780, but the Van Zeller family has been linked to the Douro and to the production of its wines since 1620. Since 1993, legendary “Douro Boy” Cristiano van Zeller has dedicated his life’s work to crafting and promoting DOC Douro wines alongside Ports. In 2007, Cristiano acquired full ownership of the old family Port company Van Zellers & Co. and set about rebuilding the old Port stocks. He subsequently launched the CV - Curriculum Vitae wines – benchmark bottlings that represent the heights the Douro can achieve. With over 400 years of experience in making and selling wine across 15 generations, the Van Zellers have acquired deep knowledge that enables them to craft some of the world’s most exceptional Ports and DOC Douro wines.

Our roots are in live music – a world where experience is everything, yet delicious cocktails are often out of reach. And we believe the good things in life should be more accessible. Enlisting the help of our favorite mixologist and James Beard finalist for Outstanding Bar Program, Miles Macquarrie (Kimball House, Watchman’s Seafood & Spirits), we developed classic cocktail recipes and packaged them up to drink at any time and (just about) any place.
