10 anniversary th
2014–15 season
welcome to miami theater center! We are celebrating our 10th Anniversary and another season of high-quality, cutting-edge, original shows! We’re so excited to have had the chance to share our award-winning productions, educational opportunities, and our beautifully restored, intimate Art Deco theater with our community. Thanks to you, this year we commemorate and celebrate how far we’ve come, and look back proudly on the productions we’ve staged and the 200,000 attendees we’ve entertained. Because it’s our mission to be your home for theater in Miami, we took your feedback to heart when planning our 2014–15 season. We’re thrilled to deliver on your request that we revisit and take a new approach to the classics. Come enjoy two fresh adaptations of renowned works — Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler and George Axelrod’s The Seven Year Itch. Or check out our innovative SandBox Series — our incubator for new work by the most promising up-and-coming artists on the scene today. You can also catch a screening of a first-run independent film through our partnership with O Cinema. So, join us for a MainStage or SandBox Series production, or a film, or sign up your child for our ever-popular winter, spring, or summer theater camps. And don’t miss the chance to join in our 10th Anniversary celebration this spring. We believe the arts have the power to change our lives. So come — be enriched! Be inspired! Be MTC! We look forward to welcoming you to our dynamic MTC family.
