MODERNITY — as the founder of Ono Mochi, I want to provide a modern take on a traditional Japanese dessert that can bring out a fun loving foodie. Based out of Los Angeles, California, we find the flavors from the source, and create a locally crafted bite sized snack that you and your friends can share and talk about.

The Ono Mochi logo should never be smaller than 1”x 3” with typography, without typography it should never be less than 1”x 1”. The typography included should always be 75% grey or white when needed. 6
IMPROPER LOG O U S AG E
The color element of the logo should never be changed, or the transparency should never be altered. The font used in the type treatment is Rockwell and Rockwell light. Do not change the case of the type, and use the specified leading. Only 75% grey and white are suitable for the type treatment colors. Tr y to avoid placing logo on busy backgrounds.

Do not use the digital guide as a ‘spot color,’ please use the dialed CMYK numbers and/or the coated Pantone swatch numbers. Colors were chosen to go well together and well with our logo, do not change tones or shades. NEVER use 100% black, 75% goes better with our light colors.

Ono Mochi wants to stand out, we designed embossed die-cut business cards that have our logo, contact info and the employee’s name on it. May only be reproduced from the company’s printer of choice using approved colors.

The letterhead, envelopes and busines cards were designed to remain minimal. Refrain from using letterhead for multi-page dodcuments. Font size should be 10pt Univers 45 Light. Always place your personal signature on documents to keep the personal feel of the brand. May only be reproduced from the company server using approved colors. 13

Ono Mochi is found in coolers like shown previously, we also have one flagship store in Los Angeles, the Ono Mochi cafe. In the cafe you can find all of our flavors of mochi as well as coffee and other delicious treats our professional ‘foodies’ have found suiting to be paired with our delicious mochi.

PACKAGI NG
Our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials. The material is suitable for freezing as well as something you can add to your compost pile at home. We strive to make an invisible carbon footprint, and with further development of packaging materials, Ono Mochi is going to be a net-zero energy company by 2020. By shipping our packaging in flat sheets to our food crafters, we are able to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels in transportation. We only sell to distributers in the Los Angeles county area, which also allows our mochi to be the most fresh when you pick it up from the grocer y store.
