Dear members, You may have noticed we have a load of new toys after the New Year holiday. We cannot grow without your support. Some of our milestones are listed below:
We are now open to all families. 26 families joined us in the first six months. We have over 100 toys in different categories. From 16th May, we will add more open sessions at 9:30-11am on every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month this year.
Time to meet up! We are going to host a free public Play Day at 9:30-11 am, Saturday 16th May at our venue located at 766 Sandringham Road, Mt Roskill. Activities include music and dance, performance, art and craft, toys free to play with, and refreshments will be provided. Please come with your kids to have fun.
Ask your child/children to check off their toys when they get them home to ensure they are all complete. After play, have your child check if everything is complete as well.
For their safety, children playing with toys which has small parts, must always have adult supervision .
After play, keep toys in their container out of children’s reach.
Play with toys in a confined area to avoid losing pieces.
Keep large outdoors toys stored when not using to prevent them from fading e.g. Little Tikes coupe car
On the day before return, ask your child to check their toys are clean and dry as well as complete
A great way to play with the water table in winter—fill birdseed instead of water

To improve toy library experience, we sent out an anonymous online “Members Feedback Survey” through email in late February. To those who responded, thank you for your feedback. For those who haven’t responded, please kindly follow the link http://tinyurl.com/mabvgj9 and spend a couple of minutes to fill it out. Or ask our toy librarian for a hard copy when you are in.
If you have any other tips, please kindly send to our email.
“I've recommended the library to those I know in the area. The annual fee is very reasonable. You don't have to volunteer throughout the year and the toys are of good quality and I know that the staff are committed to expanding the selection of toys as the toy library grows.” “The staff is always friendly and helpful, great range of toys, we love coming to your toy library :) ”
Check out if your favorite toys are in our top 10 toys list (ranked in order of rental times in first half year). Our toy catalogue is available at http://tinyurl.com/MRTLcatalogue
