Ongoing Activities BOOTH WESTERN ART MUSEUM Open since 2003, the Booth is the largest museum of its kind in the Southeast and an Affiliate to the Smithsonian Institution. At 120,000 square feet, the Booth is an architectural wonder – designed to resemble a modern pueblo and constructed from Bulgarian limestone.

Tellus features four main galleries: The Weinman Mineral Gallery, The Fossil Gallery, Science in Motion and The Collins Family My Big Backyard. A 120-seat digital planetarium and an observatory with a state-of-the-art 20-inch telescope is also located at Tellus.

LakePoint is home to several worldclass venues and has been building on its reputation as a must-visit location for travel sports since 2013. Welcoming millions of visitors annually, LakePoint is the largest and most unique travel sports park in the Southeast.

BARTOW HISTORY MUSEUM The Bartow History Museum, located in the 1869 Courthouse “under the bridge” in downtown Cartersville, preserves the cultural, industrial and agricultural heritage of Bartow County and northwest Georgia. Visitors will delight in this glimpse back into the workshops, farmsteads, and mercantile located in this center of trade, politics and transportation. Artifacts, archives and oral histories from pioneer settlements to the early 20th Century can be viewed.

THE GRAND THEATRE Since 1929, The Grand Theatre has served as the cultural centerpiece of Bartow County. The theatre provides a wide range of educational, performing arts and entertainment programs throughout the year. It is also the premier rental space for other local performing arts organizations.
