Dear viewers, We would like, even during this extraordinary situation, for our fantastic audience to still be able to encounter the world's most outstanding and thrilling artists each evening – in the safety of their own homes. We believe that there are no limits to the "Müpa Budapest experience", which is why we decided to unlock our media library for everyone over the weeks to come and – each night at the familiar times: 7 pm, 7.30 pm or 8 pm, depending on genre – open Müpa Budapest's virtual concert hall by providing access to an unforgettable performance from past years, which we'll transmit on our website, our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. What is more, as a member of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) and in the spirit of international solidarity, we will also be streaming concerts on our Facebook page from different prestigious concert halls around Europe, from Lisbon and Hamburg to London – trusting that this will make evenings at home more pleasant. Take good care, and let's continue to stick together!

I'm Not Bossy, I'm The Boss 15 April 2020, Wednesday, 8 pm

An artist who is committed to, and outspoken about, social, religious and human rights issues, she has worked in countless musical styles over the decades, from reggae to Irish folk, but always sought to remain true to herself—as suggested by her latest album, I'm Not Bossy, I'm The Boss, released in August 2014. This recording was made at a concert held at Müpa Budapest on 21 April 2015.

Grieg: Peer Gynt – incidental music

Fairy-tale dance drama in two parts 18 April 2020, Saturday, 7.30 pm

Conductor: Gábor Hollerung • Featuring: Andrea Csereklyei – soprano Lúcia Megyesi Schwartz – mezzo-soprano • Domonkos Blazsó – baritone Péter Huszti – narrator • Budapest Academic Choral Society • Coincidance Dance Ensemble 1874, Ibsen asked Grieg to write incidental music for his soon-to-be-premièred drama. The piece has not really been performed together with the incidental music over the past century, and the full score was only published in the 1980s. In 2001, the MDR Radio Symphony Orchestra presented a “concert-friendly” version. This performance at Müpa Budapest offers something similar, with the storytelling provided by Péter Huszti as members of the Coincidence Dance Ensemble act out the story. This recording was made at a concert held at Müpa Budapest on 5 November 2017.
