Dear viewers, We would like, even during this extraordinary situation, for our fantastic audience to still be able to encounter the world's most outstanding and thrilling artists each evening – in the safety of their own homes. We believe that there are no limits to the "Müpa Budapest experience", which is why we decided to unlock our media library for everyone over the weeks to come and – each night at the familiar times: 7 pm, 7.30 pm or 8 pm, depending on genre – open Müpa Budapest's virtual concert hall by providing access to an unforgettable performance from past years, which we'll transmit on our website, our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. What is more, as a member of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) and in the spirit of international solidarity, we will also be streaming concerts on our Facebook page from different prestigious concert halls around Europe, from Lisbon and Hamburg to London – trusting that this will make evenings at home more pleasant. Take good care, and let's continue to stick together!

Konyha

12 June 2020, Friday, 8.00 pm

A real kitchen is a living space, with something cooking in the oven from here and beyond. The songs of the three-person group Konyha (Kitchen) operate on a personal level, imperceptibly opening up doors at just the right moment for the listener to move in, love, cry for joy, to lose and to find themselves. This recording was made at a concert held at MĂźpa Budapest on 19 June 2018.

HEY, JUNE!

Szeder

Colourful indie pop-rock, seasoned with fine chanson 13 June 2020, Saturday, 8.00 pm

Singer-songwriter Szeder first appeared as a key figure on Hungary's popular music scene with her 2014 début album Hab a tetején (Icing on the Cake), while her Reggeli dal (Morning Song) brought her even more widespread attention. Her unique sense of humour and outspokenly honest lyrics offer an entertaining inner journey through Szeder's world, in which the half moon is a croissant and the Milky Way emerges in a coffee cup. This recording was made at a concert held at Müpa Budapest on 9 June 2017.

A clear voice sings for itself.
