Letter from the Principal Dear Junior Knights, Wow! We have had a remarkable year learning new things about old things! With a new history program, we embarked on a journey into the past to discover new lands and people. Through our geography studies, we discovered grand rivers and Great Lakes, and visited Canada, Rome, Greece and Egypt. We learned how God moved adventurous men and women to unfamiliar parts of the globe to establish new colonies, villages, towns and cities. We read about past civilizations, and nobleman of the Middle Ages. The great artistic and scientific accomplishments of the Renaissance captured our interest and inspired our own creativity. We saw how the Reformation and the printing press helped to spread the Good News of salvation! Together we thought about our theme verse, Hebrews 10:23; Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Famous heroes of the faith showed us how to hold on tightly to the hope we profess. Eric Liddell surrendered all to God when he refused to run on Sunday. Amy Carmichael trusted that God had a plan for her life, even though her eye color remained brown when she prayed for blue. Hudson Taylor showed us that through prayer God would provide. God used George Whitfield to proclaim the Good News of Jesus to awaken the heart of America. As we gathered for community chapels, we were challenged to place heroic faith in our great God, too! The outdoor classroom gave us a new place to learn about God and His world. God has blessed us with a beautiful school in which to learn about Him, and to use for His glory. Many of you explored Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) in classes and after-school clubs. You designed castles, built robots, crafted gingerbread houses, sculpted birds, and read over the top! Whether in class or out, junior knights stick together! Fifth graders, as you prepare to move up to Middle School, my prayer is that you will pursue learning, that you will persevere through challenges, and that you will prayerfully trust God to provide all you need as He does amazing things in your lives! Have an Absolutely Beach-loving, Crab-catching, Dolphin-discovering, Egret-exploring, Fish-frying, Galaxygazing summer in the Lord!
With joy,
Mrs. Ludwig Elementary School Principal

5th Graders Share Special Memories of DC Dear 5B, This year has gone by so quickly. So many memories come to mind. Our last encampment at Valley Forge, our first journey to Gettysburg, getting up close to the amazing squid, chomping on dangling donuts, the lighting ceremony, exploring the beach and trails at Cape May. In all of our activities in and out of our room you displayed lots of enthusiasm, you encouraged each other and laughed with each other. Keep on encouraging one another. Use your abilities, talents and enthusiasm to point those around you to Christ. You will have challenges as you move to Middle School and beyond, but keep a “vertical view”. Continue to care and look out for each other. Be thankful for God’s blessings and blessings from others, and express that gratitude. Thank you for a special year. Mr. B. Titus Ahlborn I may not have many memories of D.C. since this was my first year here, but I can think of fifth grade activities that were amazing. The Gettysburg trip was my favorite because it went along very well with our Civil War unit. I loved seeing the battlefield and figuring out where the fighting was on each day of the battle. Mr. B. was a great tour guide. He told us some amazing side facts along with everything else. My favorite part was Devil’s Den because of the awesome rock formations to explore. Rachel Anderson My favorite elementary memories include when we were in 1st grade and went on the field trip to make bread. That is still my favorite place to get bread. My second favorite memory is the chicks. They were so adorable and fluffy. My favorite one was Road Runner. My last favorite memory was meeting one of my closest friends, Hope. We became close in third grade, and we are still very close friends now. I will miss elementary school and all my teachers as well. Amani Bunyassi I have so many memories at DC, but one of my favorite memories is when we got the chicks. I was so excited to get the chicks in our class. I was in Miss Robbins’ third grade. It was so amazing to be able to hold them and pet them. I’m sad that this is the last year of being in fifth grade, but as long as I have these memories, I’ll be happy. So for the third graders, enjoy your chicks! Jeremy Campbell I’ve been at DC for seven years. My favorite memories include the butterflies in third grade. I enjoyed watching the caterpillars eating milkweed leaves. The butterflies were one of my favorite things to learn about. Field Day was really fun. My first Field Day in Kindergarten was the best. I was on the blue team and we won! Something else I enjoyed was the Read-A-Thon because of the celebrations and prizes. In fourth grade, we brought old shoes to school and put dirt in them. Then we grew plants in them. Hope Delaney My favorite memories of the elementary school are learning how to play the clarinet in 4th grade and having band with Miss Clark. I loved having lessons with Mrs. Limpert, which I will keep on doing. I also enjoyed Cape May and can’t wait for the summer trips. I loved Cape May because we got to get all those shells and see the ghost crabs. Micah Dill When I was told I had to write about one or two memories from my years at DC, I had to think long and hard about what I wanted to do. I decided to choose a field trip about my favorite war: Gettysburg. We started the day in the visitors’ center and the museum. There we saw the huge painting called the Cyclorama. We then went on a tour of the battlefield, stopping at cool places so Mr. B could tell us about them. One of my favorite places was Devil’s Den where Confederate snipers fired at Union infantry on Little Round Top. We were allowed to climb on the boulders and in the caves. It was the best field trip I ever went on.

Caitlyn Goneau I may have just come to DC this year, but I’ve had so much fun that I don’t know where to start. This year has been amazing. Some of the things that will always stay with me are when I would help in the library with my friends. I also loved when we went to Cape May. I personally love the beach and collecting shells. It was so cool learning all the different kinds of sea animals. I learned so much this year, I think I might not remember it all. I can’t wait for next year! Jay Graf One of my favorite memories was meeting one of my best friends, Jason Shaw. We didn’t start out as friends, but now we’re always together at recess. Jason told me about shows called anime that we both enjoy. I also really enjoyed art enrichment because we were able to choose our projects, and lots of my friends were there too. My favorite was the plaster animal masks; I chose to do a lion mask. Ella Hines I came to DC in Kindergarten and have loved it ever since. I have a lot of memories from elementary school but some of my very favorites are Business Day and Cape May. In second grade for Business Day, I sold pet rocks that were painted and had fringes. I sold out! I also really loved Cape May. Being on Mr. B’s bus was a big part; we sang songs, did competitions and more. I could go on and on about elementary school and am very sad to leave. I will always keep a special spot in my heart for these memories! Bobbie Kemoi I’ve been at DC for two years. My favorite memories are when fifth grade went to Cape May. The boys in the back sang so loudly. We answered questions for candy. RUMOR HAS IT THAT MR.B IS THE MONSTER AT CAPE MAY. In fourth grade we went to Harrisburg and saw the capitol building and the governor’s house. On my first Field Day, my team, the red team won! I laughed when all the fifth graders got wet during “Stop the Leak.” Goodbye fifth grade; hello sixth! Julia Laessig I came to DC in Pre-K. I have many memories from my time at DC. One of my memories was when we raised butterflies and chicks in third grade. I thought it was cool when we got to watch the butterflies come out of their chrysalises, because I’d never seen that happen before. The chicks were very soft and cute. I liked when we got to hold them. I have had many nice teachers at DC. I will be sad when I go to the upper campus, and I won’t get to see them anymore. Sophia Lee I have a lot of good memories at DC. It’s very hard to narrow them down to just two, but I’ve finally decided which ones. One of my favorite memories was the Read-A-Thon 2014. It was the first time I’d really started reading and began to love books. Now, most of the time whenever anyone sees me, my nose is buried in a book. Another time was on the bus to Cape May. Everyone was singing, laughing, and having fun. DC is a great school, and I’m happy to have had my earliest childhood memories here. Thank you DC, for everything you have taught me! David Palomino One of the most memorable days in DCCS Elementary is Business Day in second grade. We went to Fresco’s Pizza. I really liked their pizza, and the boss told us about business. Finally the day came for our own Business Day! We had fake money and priced our products. It was sometimes a hustle to get what we wanted. Another memory is at Cape May. We explored the beach and got shells. We went to the museum there and went to McDonalds on the way home. These are my favorite memories.

Joshua Parks When I think of Delaware County Christian School, I think of so many things that I have done and seen during these five fantastic years. The most exciting and amazing thing I experienced was when we went to Gettysburg. That was an amazing trip with Mr. B, and I got to experience a lot of things I didn’t know about the three days of fighting there. Reed Roberts My five years at the elementary school were hard and easy. I feel that God gave me a great opportunity to go to this school. I think the most memorable thing that I experienced at DC was the Christmas play in 2011 because I was Joseph. I also remember in 3rd grade when we had chicks. I recommend that when something is hard at DC you don’t get upset. Ask a teacher to help you to get through the hard times. I will miss the elementary school when I go to middle school. Allison Rossini I have been at DC since Kindergarten, so I have a lot of memories. My two favorite memories are from third grade, when we had chicks, and in fifth grade, when we went to Gettysburg. I loved having chicks in the classroom and getting to keep them for a while. I also loved going to Gettysburg and seeing all the statues of the generals. I especially enjoyed it when we got to see where they fought. I had fun in elementary school, but I am looking forward to going to middle school. James Schaefer My favorite memory of DC is the butterfly unit in third grade. First, we fed caterpillars a lot of food. Next, they went into chrysalises. They stayed in that stage for a while, and then they hatched. It was fun to play with them. We named one of the boys Shadow. We could tell it was a boy by the black perfume pocket on its’ wing. Jazmine Scotton My favorite memory was my third Field Day. That was the year my team got very close to winning. But of course, the red team won again. Still, Field Day is definitely an annual favorite for everyone. My favorite part of Field Day is when the 5th graders play stop the leak. This year I was one of those fifth graders, and that is a memory that I will never forget. Will Shaeffer My favorite memories of DC were in kindergarten; it was so much fun! I really liked going out for recess four times a day. I liked the field trips to the farm, the planetarium, and the Please Touch Museum. I chatted with my friends when we were supposed to be taking naps on the mats. When we got to play on the big playground it made me feel grown up. I remember that pretzels were bigger and cheaper then. Jason Wearing My favorite fifth grade memory is the trip to Gettysburg because we got to go to the rocky place called Devils Den. There were big boulders and lots of deep crevices. I hope someday I can take my family there. I really enjoyed Field Day 2014 because I placed in every contest. The saddest part was that my team came in third.

5th Grade Memories Class of 2021 It has been a privilege teaching you this year. You are a group of students who love to learn by doing, by listening and by asking insightful questions. My favorite times with you were discussing the Old Testament prophets or a great book we just finished reading, watching your reading presentations, playing Foosball or Connect 4, and taking pictures of you! You are a fun loving creative group of children! Thank you for a wonderful year and may you continue to grow in your faith and in your love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Always remember - “For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright; he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.” Proverbs 2:6,7,8 Mrs. Cobourn Joshua Allen I don’t have too many memories from when I was young, because I joined DC when I was in second grade. I was in Mrs. Chung’s class. I still remember that I never asked for directions to get to her classroom on my first day. I knew where the three second grade classrooms were however, so I stood in front of one of the classrooms. I walked in and asked, “Is this Mrs. Chung’s class?” “It is!” Mrs. Chung said. “Phew!” I thought. I’m NOT looking forward to my last recess. Liyun Au My kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Daly. My favorite thing in kindergarten was the space unit. We learned about astronauts and what they eat. After we were done with the unit, we went on a moon bounce to end the unit and also to show what it was like to be on the moon. I liked fifth grade because my math and history/science teacher was Mr.B. He is funny and also plans very good trips like Cape May, Valley Forge, and Gettysburg. The reason I like his trips is that we back get back to school at 8:00pm. Phillip Carr My first fifth grade memory was on the first day of school. My now best friend Jason Shaw came up to me and said, “So how do you like DC?” I said I did, and now he is my friend. One day at recess he and my other friend, Jay Graf, were on the swings and I was looking for Jason. Jason introduced me to Jay and now we are all very good friends. Emma Carrington I have SO many memories at DC including friendships and fun that I would like to share. One of my fondest memories is going to the Speech Meet two years in a row. Both times were fun! I got to spend time with my friends and glorify God. Another one of my memories is the 2014 Winter Olympics Read-A-Thon. We got to read the WHOLE month and then enjoy an amazing celebration day! I have really enjoyed DC so far. I will miss the elementary terribly, but I know God has a plan for me in middle school! Emily Chung I came to DC when I was in kindergarten. One of the things that immediately stood out to me was the friendly environment. Everyone was so kind and caring, and I met many new people that I know I will be friends with for a long time. Another one of my favorite memories from elementary school was the ACSI Speech Meet. I was chosen to represent DC two years in a row saying Bible verses. It was great to just go and do it all for the glory of God. Owen Cook One of my favorite memories in DC elementary school was when we went to The Franklin Institute. I liked that trip because I learned A LOT about what they do there. It was my favorite field trip yet! Another memory was having Mr. Pittman for a math teacher. I liked his math class because he explained math in a way that made it a lot easier.

Cooper Darnold One of my favorite memories was street hockey. I liked street hockey because we got Klondikes. I also liked street hockey because we were almost always playing. And even when we were not, it was still fun. I encourage all fourth graders going into fifth grade to try street hockey! Ben Favino In fourth grade when I was in Miss Young’s class, I made a history project with James Schaefer. James and I decided to do a battle in the Civil War. It really impressed me that I liked making dioramas. Another one of my memories that affected me was when Mr. Bateman taught Gettysburg. Although I knew almost everything about the Civil War, he changed my perspective. Emma Hodges I have been at DC since kindergarten. That is a lot of years. When I was in second grade, I met my best friend, Kit Ferris. We are still best friends now. In third grade I remember doing the chicks; they were so cute! When we were holding them, one of the chicks fell asleep on my leg. When we got to choose the names, we chose some great ones: Oreo, Batman, Chipmunk, Afro Dude, and many more. I had a great time at DC and have so many memories. Bethany Jacox I’ve been at Delaware County Christian School for seven years. In 2008 there was only one Pre-K teacher. Mrs. Horton is a marvelous teacher. We were at the old school back then. In the Pre-K classroom there was a ladder leading to a small loft that we could play in. There was a playground, but instead of mulch, there was pea gravel. (Pea gravel is basically little rocks.) Sam Master My favorite memory from DC was when Mr. Pittman’s class went to the Franklin Institute. While we were there, we all got to see the big heart, but we never got to go in it because it was being fixed. I also enjoyed the Harrisburg trip and getting to tour the governor’s house and garden. Another one of my favorite things was the Cape May trip. One of the things we did was collect and identify seashells. Scottie McKeaney This is my first year at DC and I have met unforgettable friends. Some of my memories include the bus rides with my friends. We usually have breakfast on the bus which is really fun. My friends and I also sing along to the music. I have enjoyed my teachers and how they helped me through fifth grade. I have loved this school, not just because everyone is kind, but also because everyone knows the Lord. I am looking forward to middle school, but will miss elementary school. Nia Noye In kindergarten, we used to play in the little playground outside. Every day, my class used to hear the older kids play on the big playground. I always wanted to go outside and play on the big playground with them, because we never got to do that. One time, at the end of the day, my class was so good that we got to go play on the big playground after school. I was so happy! Since I was smaller, the playground looked HUGE to me. I had the time of my life! Ben Petrulis I have had many memories at this school, but one of my biggest memories was in Mr. Dolbeck’s first grade class. Mr. D had two pets, Franklin the turtle and Mocha the guinea pig. They were fun pets to have and see during class. One of the best parts was that you could take them home! I took Franklin home over Christmas once. Since the summer after first grade, my family has been taking Franklin home every summer. When Mr. Dolbeck left the school last year, he let us keep him, and now Franklin lives in my bedroom.

Addy Rivera I think the thing that I won’t forget is bringing home Mr. Phanatic in Mr. Pittman’s class. I thought it was funny how Mr. Pittman thought of Mr. Phanatic as a best friend. I also liked how he was fluffy and you could cuddle with him very easily. I remember when I was playing Minecraft with him and how his character just stood there and did nothing. I’m really going to miss this place. Jason Shaw Fourth grade was my first year, and I was really shy. I didn’t know what to do. But I met a really nice guy named Jay Graf. He volunteered to show me around the school. This year Jay and I were best friends, and there was a new kid named Phillip. I said, “So how do you like DC?” Then we became a threesome. Allie Stevens Since this was my first year at DC, I don’t have as many memories as most of my classmates, but I still have lots. My best memory of DC would probably be the Cape May field trip. That is my favorite memory because I loved studying all the different sea creatures and shells. It is the only field trip I have been on when it was warm outside. I will also always remember the bus rides with Scottie M. and Emma C. Jada Thompson I have been at DC since I was in first grade, and now I’m in fifth grade. Wow, it’s a blessing to be in such an amazing school for five years! I’ve had a lot of memories, but my favorite memory was in first grade. Mr. Dolbeck (Mr. D) was my teacher. Mr. D was totally the best teacher I ever had. I remember when he used to make our vocab words and bible verses into a song. I loved that because I love music. And his teaching was excellent! That’s my favorite elementary memory! Kouassi Toukou Pre-K was my favorite year, although I remember we didn’t get to have Field Day. Pre-K was at the old school where I only remember the playground and library. The theme for the Read-A-Thon was space. One day we had seven recesses and barely any work. One thing I will always miss from Pre-K is Mrs. Horton, and another thing is naps. Hana Yaguchi I started DC in 1st grade. My favorite grade was 3rd grade because we had chicks and butterflies. My teacher in 3rd grade was Miss Robbins; she was very nice. My favorite field trip was to Cape May in 5th grade. I found some ghost crabs and some seashells. I wish I could go to Cape May again. It feels weird because I am going to middle school already. I hope I will do well there.

5W “My dear brothers (and sisters), take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. . .” James 1:19 I suspect I may be the only person who ever makes such a big fuss about phonemes. In all honesty, you can get into a really good college without ever mastering those. However, part of the skill you need with phonemes is a discipline you need for many other parts of life: to stop, listen, and think about what you’ve heard. You are all full of creative ideas, interesting stories, and clever comments, and you all love to share them! The more difficult part is the listening . . . to each other, to instructors, to your parents, but especially to God. I am convinced He has an amazing plan for each of you, but if you aren’t careful to be still and listen for Him in His Word, in the Wisdom of those around you, and in the quiet voice of His Spirit, you may miss much of what He has in His perfect will for you. I will continue to pray that He will “bless you to His purpose!” Miss Weidman Daniel Adens I came to DC in the second grade and was in Mrs. Chung’s class. I was eight years old. My two favorite years were in third and fourth grade. My third grade teacher was Miss Young. I remember the games like Zoink, Silent Moose, Jeopardy, and sword drills for row points. My fourth grade teacher was a new teacher named Mr. Pittman. I liked when Mr. Pittman made funny retorts about the class when we had a spelling test. I enjoyed my elementary years here. Max Cardone My 5th grade and 4th grade years were my favorite. I enjoyed all the activities and units. I loved all the friends I made and time with the teachers. Always seeing younger students having a good time makes me remember all the times I enjoyed - things like taking care of the class pets and having movie nights. I enjoyed projects like State Day and the Island Story. I will always remember all the work put into them. The sense of humor in teachers will be in my mind forever. I hope that my siblings and other students have the same experience I have had. Charlotte Clark When I came to the school, I was scared and didn’t know anyone. But since I’ve been here, I’ve met some really nice friends. I know it was God’s plan to place me here. The classes I’ve been in were really welcoming. My friends were helpful when I was confused. But my favorite moments were spending time with my teachers and classmates. The teachers were a great help to me. I enjoyed when the Read- A Thon was on and everyone was encouraging to each other. I enjoyed the time that was spent in the elementary school. Charlzie Clark I may have only started at DC this year, but I already have a lot of memories. My first memory is that Mr. B was the very first person to say “Hi,” to me. My second memory is getting the best homeroom teacher, Miss Weidman. I will also remember having Olivia as my best friend. She is awesome, funny, and friendly. Joseph Cooper This was my first year at DC. I enjoyed the field trips to Cape May, Valley Forge, and Gettysburg. I liked climbing on the rocks at Devils Den and looking across the battlefield. When we went to Cape May, I saw a bunker from World War II, and I found mole crabs, spider crabs, and ghost crabs which are usually hard to find because they burrow in the sand.

Emilee Daniel Some of my best memories are from fourth and fifth grade. With Mr. Pittman, I enjoyed playing Silent Phanatic, Bear, etc… I had fun teasing him about learning how to tap dance (thanks to Susanna) and being a fit instructor during testing. Miss Young played 24 and had us making stores in math. In fifth grade I’ll remember Mr. B’s foosball games, dances from math, and street hockey too, as well as the Klondikes. I’ll miss elementary school, but I can’t wait for middle school. These are my favorite memories, and I hope they stay with me forever. Peter DeWall I’ve had great years at DCCS, and I have lots of great memories. I will remember all of my teachers as kind and Godly people. I remember playing Silent Moose with Ms. Young and when she taught us the books of the Bible. I will also remember Mr. B who taught me new things about science and history and also added to things I already knew. I’m glad that I came to this school, and I hope I have just as good a time at the upper campus. Shannon Elliott One of my favorite memories of elementary school is from pre-K when I got a piece of candy just for answering a question. Another memory is from 5th grade. That memory is the Cape May field trip. At Cape May you can take a stroll along the sand and find many shells and other items. I found a lady crab that had just died. The thing I remember most is the ride home. We probably spent more time on the bus than on the shore. Mary Ellen Eudaly I have many memories from my three quarters here in 5th grade and I will share two of them. One of my memories is the math chants that we made up and recited with Mr. Bateman to help us remember mathematical terms and phrases. Another memory I have is of the Renaissance project we had to complete for Mrs. Cobourn. Cherith Garner and I worked together on a skit about the upper class ladies and their fashion. We then performed it in class. Although I haven’t even spent a year at DC, I have a lot of memories that I will always cherish. Annika Evans The first big memory I have is all the awesome teachers I have had over the years. They are the main part of the school. What’s a school without teachers? I loved the all school chapels too. I remember participating by reciting verses and playing the recorder. My biggest memory from this year is writing a biography about William Carey and learning about India. Kit Ferris From elementary school, I remember the letter people from Pre-K. They helped me remember the letters and special memories with Mrs. Horton and Mrs. Fling. It was funny to see each costume the letter people wore. One I remember was Z. He wore zippers all over him. Even on his mouth there was a zipper! I loved finding them around the school. Every day we wanted to find the day’s letter first. Thank you, Mrs. Horton and Mrs. Fling, for beginning my childhood! Olivia Forrest When I first came to DC in 3rd grade, I felt at home. I will never forget that feeling. God came into my life and everything became clear to me… I have been to Christian schools where God is like a character. It feels good knowing that as I go off to middle school, God will be with me the whole way because of DC’s support. DC also brought me my best friend, Charlzie, whom I will never forget. I learned that yes, life is challenging, but with God in it, your life is perfect.

Cherith Garner One of my favorite 5th grade memories was when my friend Mary Ellen Eudaly and I partnered up and did a Renaissance skit in our Renaissance unit in reading. We dressed up like women in the upper class and had quite an enjoyable time. Another one of my favorite memories was when the entire 5th grade went to Cape May. This was a very amazing experience because we got to see all the shells that we had learned about in our seashore unit. I loved these times and will keep them in my heart forever! Rachel Grieb I had some amazing years at DC, but one of my favorite years was third grade. I remember the butterflies and how we would be sad when we let them go. I also remember the chicks. I always loved it when a new chick was in the cage. We were learning to write letters in cursive, and then we were graded on how neat they were. We had a folder with all the papers. I will always remember these memories. Susanna Harnish In fourth grade, I was the first person to take Mr. Phanatic home. I took pictures of him and put them on a poster board. I took him home three times that year. I had to walk him, feed him, and snuggle with him. In fifth grade, my favorite memory was when I had my concussion. It may seem funny, but it’s very true. Every day people would pray for me and I got quite a few cards. I loved elementary school! Christopher Lee When you say elementary memories, the first thing I think of is my mom. She died when I was in third grade. It was hard for me to experience. I was in third grade with Miss Bell when it happened. She set up a butterfly bench in memory of my mom. Everybody encouraged me through the whole way, especially Reed Roberts. I remember the chicks. It was hard to wait for them to hatch, but it was worth it. The class got to hold them; they were very cute and adorable. Molly Nichols Something I will always remember about my elementary experience is the library. You can go to any library around the world and get the book you want, but Mrs. Levis gave me a fun, personal time at the library. She remembers the books I read and always gives me perfect recommendations. I very rarely dislike the books she picks out. I come to the library often to do things like homework or just for fun. Mrs. Levis helped make me the best reader I can be. I’m glad I was blessed with a school library and the opportunity to spend my elementary years at DC. Ebuka Nwobodo My first year at Delaware County Christian School I had Mrs. Nixon. She was the best teacher I have ever had because she always gave us popsicles. Jeremy Campbell was my best friend. In fourth grade, I had Mr. Pittman, and I had all my best friends there. Fourth grade was the hardest grade of all; I don’t know why. Fifth grade had the best trips because we went to Cape May and Gettysburg. I liked fifth grade because we were so adventurous. Will Powala My greatest memory from elementary school will always be the teachers. Up until I was in fifth grade, all the teachers my sister had were no longer here. Also, it was weird how every grade we were in, we had three homeroom teachers. As I go into middle school, I will always remember my teachers. Trevor Tuttle One of my best memories was definitely the cute, little, furry, and fuzzy chicks. I was in Miss Young’s class, and I remember a few of them sitting on my shoulder; some went on my thighs or even on my head. It was hard at first, I will admit, because you didn’t want to drop or hurt them. However, they were still fun to have around!
