new dental practice opened in Northlake in February 2020, and in just one year’s time, hundreds of healthy, beautiful new smiles have been created. What’s more is that many patients have discovered their forever dentist. Z Dentistry, headed by Dr. Zachary Smith (or simply, Dr. Z) is committed to practicing excellence in dentistry while also implementing relationship-based dentistry. The Z Dentistry team is such a big part of the Northlake community that patients not only receive the best in dental care, but they feel a connection with Dr. Z. he wanted to expand his technical skills further, leading him to earn a specialty certificate in a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program (AEGD) at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas. This provided him with additional training over and above graduating from dental school. And that explains Dr. Z — he’s head and shoulders above the rest. “As a new patient,” explains Dr. Z, “unless you’ve been referred by one of our amazing patients, you don’t know what sets us apart. One of my favorite parts about being a dentist is taking patients on a tour of their mouth with photographs and digital technology. Potentially, this becomes a new patient’s first time actually
seeing and understanding the conditions of their mouth.” Z Dentistry provides patients with the most up-to-date technology. Everything is digital in the office. Even before COVID-19, the team practiced all CDC recommended procedures. And they will continue to do so even after the pandemic is over.
