Another population near and dear to Mindful Counseling is the LGBTQ community. “We are a LGBTQ+ affirming practice and are passionate about providing a safe, supportive environment for this population.” Angel said. Mindful Counseling isn’t just for people with depression, anxiety or trauma. “Counseling can be a space for even the healthiest person looking for a safe, confidential environment to process ongoing stressors that life throws our way.” Angel said. They even offer counseling that specialize in couples counseling. There is a wide variety of services to choose from.

They are currently home to 11 clinicians and are looking to grow that number.

We want to focus on the mind body and spirit.” Angel said. Angel said she strives to ensure meeting the community where they are.
