You will be able to learn powerful self-defense skills taught directly from our local law enforcement. You will be able to empower both mind and body by learning to avoid dangerous situations, recognize danger, as well as learn how to defend yourself in those situations. FOUR DISD MARCHING BANDS AWARDED UIL 1ST DIVISIONS THREE DISTRICT PARTNERS DEDICATE MINI-PITCH AT NAVO MIDDLE SCHOOL The FC Dallas Foundation, CoServ and Globe Life partnered together to unveil a new mini-pitch at Navo Middle School. All three DISD district partners worked together to create this innovative field. It is part of the FC Dallas Foundation’s commitment to promoting a healthy, active lifestyle for the youth and communities of North Texas by building a fun and safe place for them to play soccer. Denton ISD would like to congratulate the four high school marching bands that performed in the UIL Region 2 Marching Band Contest at C.H. Collins Athletic Complex. All four of the bands received unanimous 1st Division “Superior” ratings from every single one of the judges. The four bands will advance to their respective UIL classification’s area level contest.
