MUSEO MARITIMO y del PRESIDIO de USHUAIA

El Museo Marítimo y del Presidio de Ushuaia, es un espacio cultural dinámico en la antigua Cárcel del Fin del Mundo. Su Director, Lic. Carlos Pedro Vairo, museólogo, escritor, historiador, explorador e investigador, es especialista en la Isla de los Estados, Antártida y Tierra del Fuego. Ha escrito veintena de libros sobre sus investigaciones, viajes de exploración y fotografías y artículos periodisticos en revistas especializadas de náutica y de etnografía marítima de Argentina y de Europa. The Maritime Museum and the Prison of Ushuaia, is a dynamic and cultural space in the old prison. Lic. Carlos Pedro Vairo, director of the museun is museologist, writer, historian, explorer and researcher, is specializes in Staten Island, the Antarctic and Tierra del Fuego. He has written twenty books, which reflects his research, exploration trips and photographs. He published newspaper articles in newspapers, magazines and maritime nautical ethnography of Argentina and Europe.
