2023 fall

The Mastersons

Friday, September 29 @ 7pm • $35–$40

The Mastersons are singer-songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Chris Masterson and Eleanor Whitmore. When they’re not touring the world as valued longtime members of Steve Earle’s band the Dukes, the musical and marital twosome make inspired albums of their own emotionally vivid, deeply humanistic songs.

Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite Boys

Thursday, October 19 @ 7pm • $25–$30

Since forming in 1988 in Southern California, Big Sandy and His FlyRite Boys have become one of the world’s most beloved Americana/ Roots acts, drawing from the deep musical waters that flow just beneath the surface of Rock & Roll’s fertile soil. A childhood passion for country, doo-wop, and rhythm & blues records led Sandy (nee Robert Williams) to pursue a singing career as a teenager, beginning a life in music that continues decades later.

Daneen Wilburn and Special Guests present “Together & Thankful”

Saturday, November 18 @ 7pm • $25-$30

In the spirit of the holiday season, we invite you to join us for a concert that celebrates our ability to gather and express, through music, those things we are grateful for in our lives: friends, family, community, and more. Vocalist Daneen Wilburn is joined by professional horn player and educator Derek Cannon; GRAMMY-Award winning producer, educator, and musician Kamau Kenyatta; vocalists Whitley and Jordan Wilburn; and an array of some of San Diego’s most accomplished and respected musicians. The program finale will welcome several surprise guests to the stage.
