@suhasaya PREVIEW Cal Poly’s underrepresented minority applicant pool has spiked in the past decade, tallying more than 13,000 minority freshmen applicants this year compared to approximately 4,000 in 2004. That increased diversity has the university evaluating its cultural outreach programs and adapting to Cal Poly’s heterogeneous student body. >> The Cal Poly women’s basketball team (8-1) takes on Cal State Northridge (7-3) in a battle of the conference’s top teams on Thursday night in Mott Athletics Center.
