New Fuel Farm and New Fuel Hydrant System at INIA Located away from the operations area at the north west of INIA the new fuel storage will be approximately 37,000m2, which is roughly 3 times the size of the current fuel farm. With this development our fuel farm will host 45 million liters of Jet A1 fuel, 1 million liters of Diesel and 0.1 million liters of petrol. Along with new fuel storage expansion, there will be fuel hydrant systems installed at INIA improving safety and shortening service time for the airlines.
New Cargo Terminal at INIA A brand new cargo terminal with an expanded area of 18,000 square meters will be connected to the western side harbor, with loading and unloading cranes installed. This facility will increase efficiency, administrative capacity and more importantly storage capacity to more than 120,000 tons of air-cargo per year.
New Apron for aircraft parking at INIA Currently, the airport island’s North West apron is operational and has the capacity for 4 widebody aircrafts or 8 narrow-body aircrafts. In the future with the expansion of the main apron our capacity will grow up to 12 wide body stands. Furthermore, the new apron configuration will have aero bridges and parking provision for Code-F type aircrafts such as A380, which is the largest in commercial operations today. Further expansion of the apron to the east side is scheduled to be underway and it will have additional stands for 4 wide-body aircrafts plus 8 narrow body aircrafts.
