Machu Picchu By Yash Karri
There are many temples in Machu Picchu such as the sun temple, the Temple With The Three Windows. The Principal Temple has a sub temple where people perform rites and ceremonies.
The Inca’s ate bread and corn. They used the corn for alcoholic drinks. The men and women wore robes. The material the robes were made out of was wool. The Inca did not know about wheels. They did not even use large animals! The workers had to carry the heavy loads by them selves!
One of the Inca emperor’s name was Francisco Pizarri. He was an explorer, soldier, and conquistador. He lived from 1476 to 1540. His brother's name was Hernando.
• Two brothers named Huascar and Atahualpa fought since 1527 to 1532 over the Inca Empire.
• It is important to know about Machu Picchu because it is part of our world history.
Even though Machu Picchu is very old it still stands.
