WELCOME TO THE Y! WE’RE HERE FOR YOU
DEAR MEMBERS & PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS, If you have not been back to the Y yet, you will not believe the transformation. Prior to the shut-down we had nearly completed an $8 Million renovation and expansion aimed at better serving you and our community. The project is now complete and we can’t wait for the fall session to begin. We have been open all summer and it has been nice to see many of you utilizing the Framingham Branch YMCA, the Clearbrook Family Swim Club and our Family Outdoor Center in Hopkinton. We had a great summer serving more than 400 campers on average each day. While camp looked a bit different, our kids had a safe and fun summer. Members have been back at the Y for lap swimming, exercise in the wellness center, personal training and much more. The following Program Guide highlights our current offerings. You will see that we will be offering our programs in 4-6 week blocks. We understand that fall schedules for many people may look very different. There are people still adjusting to working from home while others are back in the work place. Many families are still trying to figure out childcare as the school districts decide on their approach to handling the school day. We hope that this approach will provide you with a bit more flexibility as you work through your situation. In the meantime, I encourage you to contact us and schedule time for a tour so you can see first-hand, the seriousness with which we take your safety, and the many ways we are working to provide you with an enjoyable Y experience.
2 The MetroWest YMCA
Thank you again for choosing to be a member of the YMCA community and please reach out to us with any questions you may have. We are excited to see all of you and we know you will love your newly renovated and expanded YMCA. Sincerely, Rick MacPherson President and CEO MetroWest YMCA

AN EASY, STRESS FREE FALL
FALL 1
SEPTEMBER 14 - OCTOBER 11
FALL 2
OCTOBER 12 - NOVEMBER 15
FALL 3
NOVEMBER 16 - DECEMBER 23
COMING THIS FALL: Mini Program Sessions! We understand that this fall brings uncertainty for our community members. COVID-19 has brought a lot of changes to your routine. The MetroWest YMCA is here to help you create a new routine that works for you. We understand that committing to our regular 7-week sessions could be tough, for current members and new members alike. Our program directors have come up with three 4-6 week mini sessions for the fall so that you don’t have to worry about uncertainty. Shorter sessions means you pay less, you can try out a new class and if you aren’t feeling it by the end of the session, no problem. You aren’t held to a longer session period. However, with your favorite classes returning, as well as some that are brand new, we’re here for your whole family, and we hope you’ll stick with us. PROGRAM REFUND/CREDIT PROCEDURES 1. If a class does not meet minimum enrollment and is cancelled, a full refund or YMCA credit will be issued. 2. A full refund or YMCA credit will be issued if a participant withdraws from a class after notifying the Program Director or authorized staff member at least 48 hours prior to the start of class. 3. A YMCA credit or refund will be issued if a participant is unable to attend a class due to a prolonged illness (3 or more weeks). This request must be made prior to the end of the program session and must be accompanied by a doctor’s note. Program Satisfaction We place great value on the satisfaction of our program participants. If a program is not meeting your needs for any reason please notify the Program Director. Note: Please let the Program Director know if you cannot make a class due to religious reasons. We will be happy to offer you a credit for that class.

YOUTH SWIM LESSONS FALL 2 SESSION: 5 WEEKS, OCT 12-NOV15
Due to our new protocols around safety for staff and participants an adult is required to be in the water for swim lessons for all PreSchool 1-3 and School Age 1 classes. As a reminder children must wear snug fitting swim diapers, not regular diapers, under swim suits. At the MetroWest YMCA we are taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our staff and participants as we return to offering programs. We have reduced our capacity, and modified our activities to allow for social distancing and limited the amount of sharing of equipment. We are also asking parents to participate in some of our classes to provide a safe opportunity for partner work.
