May 13, 2012 “The race started with me having a DEAD last start. Then I pinned it through the dust and picked my way up into the pack.”
Wardlow, AB: The Alberta Dirt Rider’s Association 2012 season kicked off this past Sunday at the base of the Rocky Mountains, where Riviere’s Revenge threads through the foothills and valleys. Clint Riviere hosts the event, which is made up of a variety of man made obstacles, grass track, hillsides, tight trees and creek crossings. Provost AB’s Cole Dobovich raced as a Pro for the first time and, following a very poor start, marched his way up into the top 5. Battling dust, he managed to move into a comfortable 4th position until a mistake on a side hill late in the race. Cole’s FX 450 rolled through the finish in 5th position. “I’m pretty pleased, had a couple bobbles, but other than that, things went well” states the 18 year old, first year Pro.
