Yamaha Hully Gully rebounds at Whispering Pines
Mother Nature was on everyone's side at whispering pines, as the sun came out making it an awesome day for racing. The track crew worked hard to keep the conditions perfect through out the day. After a lack luster first round, the team was anxious to get things started on Saturday. With a few new motor parts in Dylan's YZ250F he took the track and put in the 8th fastest lap in the MX2 class. After the first gate drop Dylan found himself just inside the top 10. A few quick passes in the opening laps of the moto would place him in 4th. At the halfway mark a rear flat tire would slow Dylan's pace. The last half would go by slowly as he fell back to 6th place at the checkers. As the MX2 class took to the gate Dylan and his father Rob were feeling confident heading into the second moto. This time, Dylan would battle through the rough conditions, making a late moto pass to put him 4th by race's end. Dylan quoted "I am happy with the way I rode. I'm looking forward to being able to ride to my potential for 2 full moto's and hopefully put my Yamaha/Hully Gully YZ250F on the box."
