How to Set Up My Fitness Pal 1. Download and open the app!
2. Enter in all of your personal information as directed. Just follow their instructions – don’t worry if something doesn’t apply – we will fix it later!
3. Click on More…
4. Click on Goals
5. Click on Calorie and Macronutrient Goals
6. Time to set your GOALS! •
Set your Calories to 900 minimum… unless you have been told otherwise. I can help you adjust these further on a 1:1 basis.

Set Carbohydrates to 35% Set Protein to 40% Set Fat to 25%
Then click the back arrow.
7. Click on Additional Nutrient Goals
8. Here is where you set your goals for Fiber and Sugar – two important factors in weight loss and nutrition.
• 35g Fiber* • 25g Sugar* *These can be adjusted on a 1:1 basis depending on individual medical needs.
9. Click the back arrow until you reach the home screen. And you are DONE!
