The “Mast Step” is manufactured from a special combination of “Nylon/ Glass fibre” which, together with its design, gives the step a safe working load of 140kg (310lbs). The steps are UV stabilized and provide safe and secure footholds in many situations including; climbing or working on a mast, getting in or out of large lockers or lazerettes, or climbing onto coach roofs. Step one Rough the keel surface with the provided ScotchBrite pad to remove waxes, release agents and surface materials.
Step two Wipe with cleaning agent to remove all contaminants.
KeelGuard is an ultra tough Polycor composite for dependable protection. It adheres along the keel using an extremely strong 3M pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive. This remarkable adhesive is very similar to that used by NASA on the space shuttle and specified by architects to seal windows of skyscrapers.
Step three Apply the provided 3M primer along the keel line.

Simple conventional designs for quick and safe fixing. These heavy duty hatches are made of top quality aluminium alloy extrusion, hand polished and deep anodised for maximum corrosion resistance. A thick acrylic with UV addition is fixed on the self supporting frame carefully by quality sealant to give 100% waterproofing. Square, Rectangular and trapezoid shapes and many sizes to choose from. Can be locked from inside by a button switch on the handle. External handles enable hatch to open from outside if not locked. Friction hinge to open in any position. Adjustable by M8 inbus bolt & nut in the hinge. Joints are waterproof by neoprene. Beige ABS trim moulding to suit any hull thickness. Installation Instructions 1 Before installation, please check the following: Check that the hatch can be fitted in the planned position. the maximum tolerance is +/- 1 mm. Check that you don’t damage anything in this area such as superstructure, electrical cables, lamps, deck equipment & that it can be opened freely. 2 Mark the cut-out with a pencil using the frame of the hatch as a template. Check this cut-out with the dimensions in the table referring to your hatch. Next cut out the deck. See previous change. 3 Place the hatch in the hole & present the ABS trim from the inside. Cut out this ABS frame to adjust it between the roof & the hatch. 4. Before installation, clear away dust and clean the surface of the deck where you want to fit the hatch. Apply sealant to the inner surface of the lower frame. Fix the hatch with screw type M5. Surplus sealant must taken off after drying. 5 Check that the hatch is operating well when opening, closing and locking. 6 This hatch needs low maintenance. ULTRAFLEX AV HATCH LIFTERS The AV Hatch lifters are electromechanical products, especially designed for marine use on pleasure boats. They allow full or partial opening and closing of heavy engine hatches, peak tanks, hatch beams etc. By activating a switch, it is possible to lift the hatch to any desired position from closed to full open, an internal self-locking mechanism will maintain the position preventing any accidental hatch closing. In case of an emergency, the lifter is fitted with a stainless steel telescopic ram for manual operation. The lifters are supplied with all mounting hardware. The AV hatches do not require any maintenance, are easy to install and are made of materials resistant to corrosion.

STAINLESS STEEL LIFT-O-MAT MARINE HATCH STRUTS Improve safety and convenience around hatches, lids and flaps on your vessel by installing Stabilus Lift-O-Mat Inox Gas Springs. No more hatches laying around on deck or slamming closed causing injury to family or crew. Made from attractive, rust resistant 316 grade stainless steel, Stabilus Lift-O-Mat gas springs are easy to install and are available in a variety of sizes and pressures to suit all applications. There are four size options to choose from. These hatch sizes and weights are approximate and need not be square. If you need extra pressure added to the strut contact us to arrange so. Mounting Instructions 1. Mount Flat Brackets into position on frame as per chart & diagram A B. 2. Clip shaft end of strut onto bracket. 3. Clip Right-Angled Brackets into tube end. 4. Open hatch to desired position C and mark where bracket is to be fixed on hatch. Remove bracket from strut by releasing pressure on spring clip with small screwdriver . 5. Screw bracket onto hatch and clip tube end back on. Ensure spring clip is in place. NB: Hatch Pack 4 has stainless steel ball sockets and clips. Remove clips before fitting brackets and replace when installation is complete. NOTE: Position of hatch should not be more than 8O0 as strut is not designed to take load weight of hatch. If you need to go up or over 9O0 a separate devise will be needed to hold hatch open.

The internal valve system is truly ‘smart’ in its design of controlling your boat’s performance. It will reduce the minimum planing by 33%. It will provide a level, more comfortable ride at lower speeds. It will improve economy, handling and safety. As the boat speed increases, the water pressure also increases. Once the water pressure exceeds the Actuator (max LIFT period) the trim plates begin to move upward until they are horizontal with the bottom of the boat. The internal valve system dampens the trim plate movement which eliminates any instant reaction to minor water pressure variances. SMART TABS provide smooth & undetectable reaction to boat speed, creating a level, more comfortable ride at lower speeds. All mounting hardware, instructions and templates are included.
