SWAGING SLEEVES Our nickel plated copper swaging sleeves are of the finest quality. Carefully designed, these products obtain maximum life and performance from flexible wire ropes. Consider these features: 1. ensuring maximum penetration of copper into the wire rope. Fully annealed during processing, 2. section directs the material properly during swaging. “Figure 8” cross 3. Burr free inside profile prevents fraying of wires during insertion. 4. Long taper on the opposite end to the thimble prevents “pinching” of the wire rope, extending life. 5. Nickle plating reduces electrolytic corrosion of the splice. Available in sizes to suit wire from 1/16” to 1/4” in diameter, Riley swagging sleeves are the only brand you should trust with your rig. Riley rigging screws are 100% stainless steel in construction. The bodies are spin tapered for maximum strength and smoothness of finish; the threads are precision cut to ISO Metric specifications. Rigging screws with swage ends are now produced to MILSPEC specifications, for compatibility with modern swaging equipment. The hollow-tube construction of these fittings makes them substantially lighter than brass or bronze equivalents (up to 50% in some cases)

Our “MILSPEC” products are now identified by branding the wire size on the part, right near our company name. Riley Swage Studs are available with either UNF Imperial or I.S.O. Metric threads. Studs with UNF threads are made with short threads for general purpose use, or with long threads with fitment for our competitors rigging screws. 25mm BULLET BLOCKS The 25mm Bullet blocks are available with either plain, ball, or roller bearings and are extremely light-weight. The stainless cheeks are lighter than comparable stainless/plastic designs, and are not prone to breakage. Stainless steel needle rollers offer minimum friction with higher loads, while Delrin ball bearings excel for light, very free running applications. 60mm SHEET BLOCKS Riley 60mm Sheet Blocks feature either stainless steel ball bearings or acetal plain bearings. The stainless steel bearings run on stainless journals, giving maximum load capacity and minimum friction for a ball race system.Mounting is achieved with either a fixed or swiveling head. The fixed head has a removable shackle, for close mounting on block hangers on booms etc., while the swivel head accepts a 3/16” or 1/4” shackle, and may be locked by a grub screw on the single sheave version. Blocks with cam cleats allow ample adjustment of the cleating angle to suit your application. Deck mounted versions allow through-bolt fixing with two 1/4” diameter screws (not supplied). The Riley-Reliable range of 60mm blocks are ideal for sheets on small keelboats and trailer-sailers, and for sheets and turning blocks on larger yachts.

CAM CLEAT ACCESSORIES Riley cam cleats now have a range of accessories to make them even easier to use. Both the RM164 & RM165 cleats have parallel and angled bases, and a rope guide. The rope guide, made from stainless steel, fits neatly under the parallel base, ensuring a true lead into the cleat. The angled base is used where a mounting surface is not conveniently aligned with the rope. Proper alignment of the cleat ensures correct cleating, and minimum resistance to free rope movement during adjustment. Special moulded washers are provided to correctly clamp the underside of the cleat fixture, preventing damage to softer deck materials.
