Iron Eagle Ride Aims To Cure Diabetes

As the sun rises over the Las Vegas strip Thursday, June 14, Fraternal Order of Eagles Grand Trustee Darrell Rall will embark on a 25-day, 25,000-mile motorcycle journey known as “Iron Eagle 2012” in hopes of finding a cure for diabetes. Rall, 64, is taking on the physically daunting task to raise money for The Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center - a five-year, $25 million commitment made by the organization to the University of Iowa in 2008 to help find a cure.
