Crazy year, 2015. We became supersized, spawned a TV show, and because we really loved doing our jobs, probably grew a few pounds heavier. Our inaugural 2016 issue looks back at the remarkable endings and beginnings of the past year, from InterContinental Manila’s farewell after 46 years of standing proud among the buildings of Ayala Center to Din Tai Fung’s
much anticipated arrival.
Like in some of our issues, we’re running a bit high on nostalgia with this one, bidding goodbye to familiar places and faces. As the new year ushers in endless possibilities,
we can only hope that 2016, despite the terrible hysteria of choosing the next leader of the country, will bring in more things to look forward to and enjoy.
