THE NEW GALLERY PORTSCATHO
The New Gallery is the home of a society of Artists founded in 1984. The name reflects a move to larger premises nearby in 2000. The Gallery is unique in that it is only open three days a week (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and run by Artists, whilst the studio above is in use on most days of the week and visitors have the opportunity to meet the Artists. These include: Andrea & Chris Insoll, Trevor Felcey, Eric Ward, Daniel Holmes Adams, Ann Long, Lizzie Black, John Birch, Howard Milton, Andrew Tozer as well as the late Grace Gardner. We also have a selection of earlier works from both the St Ives and Newlyn Schools.
