3 - 7 p.m. South Gym and North Lawn Join your friends, classmates and their families at FallFest. There will be traditional carnival games for young children, giant inflatables and fun for everyone!

Athletic Hall of Fame Luncheon

11:30 a.m. Dining Terrace Please join us as we induct our 2013 Athletic Hall of Fame members and honor the 1969 and 1970 undefeated football teams. Veena Sud ‘85

Veena is currently the writer and executive producer for the AMC series, “The Killing,” earning an Emmy nomination and a Writers Guild of America award nomination. Her previous television work includes the dramatic series, “Cold Case,” where she was a writer and executive producer. Veena was also We will honor Veena at the Alumni Business an episode writer for the 2002 television Lunch on April 25, 2014. We are also pleased series “Push, Nevada.” Paramount Pictures to have Veena as our featured speaker for announced that Sud is writing a remake of this luncheon. Please plan on joining us. 5:30 - 7 p.m. Gordon R. Wright Tennis Complex Visit with old friends and faculty before the game at the Alumni Reception. Dinner, cocktails and music will be available. There is no charge for this event. In case of rain, we will be on the stage in Keeler Theater.

7 p.m. Football Stadium CCDS takes on Summit Country Day. 2013 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees Tom Schmidt ’63, Addison Lanier ’72, Megan Kelley Helmbrecht ’88, Jamin Johnson ’99, Coach Dudley Hoffman and the undefeated football teams of 1969 and 1970 will be honored on the field at halftime.

Chuck Yeiser Memorial Celebration

3 p.m. John Whitman Keeler Theater We will celebrate former teacher, coach, and headmaster Chuck Yeiser’s ‘39 life and career at Country Day.

Saturday Evening Private reunion parties for the classes of 1953, 1963, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993 and 1998 will be held on Saturday evening. *Reunions for the classes of 2003 and 2008 will take place over Thanksgiving weekend.

Addison Lanier ’72 Addison excelled at tennis and football, earning All-City and All-State honors in tennis. He was the State Champion in doubles tennis in 1971 and 1972. Addison was the quarterback of the undefeated football team in 1970. Megan Kelley-Helmbrecht ’88 During her years at CCDS, Megan achieved distinction in soccer, basketball and softball. She was captain of the basketball and softball teams, and earned MVC honors in both sports. Megan earned 12 varsity letters as well as All-State Basketball honors.

Jamin Johnson ’99

Jamin played football, basketball and track during his time at CCDS. He was captain of the football and track teams, and was state finalist in track in 1998 and 1999. He received All - MVC honors in football, basketball and track as well as All-District football honors. Jamin was named the top male athlete and received the David McDaniel Award.

Coach Dudley Hoffman While a teacher and coach at CCDS, Dudley led the football team to two undefeated seasons in 1969 and 1970, and achieved CCDS’s first ever state ranking in Ohio at #7. The ’69 and ’70 teams achieved a top ranking in Cincinnati and, most importantly, Coach Hoffman raised the standards and expectations of Country Day football. The 1969 and 1970 undefeated football teams will be recognized at the Hall of Fame Luncheon. Please plan on attending if you were a member of either team.
