About Us The DeskTop Publishing Institute (DPI), founded in 2001, as the training division of DeskTop Productions Limited (DTP), Tanzania’s only full service printing, graphic design, prepress, photography and multimedia bureau. In 2013, DPI signed an agreement with the globally-acclaimed CADD Centre to offer their full range of courses and resources. Architectural Engineering AutoCAD The course objective is to teach the students the basic commands necessary for professional 2D CAD drawing, design, and drafting using a 2D drafting tool. Even students with no previous CAD experience can progress quickly through this course which is arranged in a sequence that is easy to understand. Participants will learn CAD fundamentals and the capabilities in 2D drawing. The software used for this course will be AutoCAD.
3Ds Max The course introduces to the essential concepts of 3D computer graphics and animation. It will enable students to migrate from 2D design to 3D design and animations. The course will helps to create photorealistic images, and walkthrough animations in multimedia, architectural and interiors.
Revit Architecture The course objective is to train the students on creating effective 3D modeling, interior & exterior building designs and the concept called BIM. The student will learn about above mentioned modules. This course will help the students to familiarize on building designing plan and detailed documentation.
Electrical Engineering AutoCAD The course objective is to teach the students the basic commands necessary for professional 2D CAD drawing, design, and drafting using a 2D drafting tool. AutoCad Electrical AutoCAD Electrical, an integral part of AutoCAD suite of engineering software products, comes with powerful drafting tools for controls and schematic design. The rich repository of symbol libraries help designers increase the productivity of electrical design tasks.
Revit MEP Revit software, from Autodesk, provides mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineers with tools to design the most complex building systems. Revit supports Building Information Modelling (BIM), to help drive accurate design, analysis and documentation of efficient building systems from concept through construction.

SolidWorks The course objective is to make student proficiency in using Solid Works to design components, product assemblies, and Weldment designs and generate product documentation. In addition they will learn Product Data Management using Solid Works Workgroup PDM Vault Admin.

Project Planning & Management Project Planning & Management Concepts The course is designed to provide the participants with Project Management fundamentals. PPM concepts course is the preparatory training intended to provide insights into the knowledge areas of Project Management as defined by the Project Management Institution, USA. Thorough knowledge on Project Management Concepts enables the professionals to understand the scope and handle projects efficiently in an organization.
Microsoft Project The course teaches the project mangement tools of Microsoft office Project. Participants will learn how the MSP is applied and implemented in small and medium size projects with limited activity. Project Management professionals with through knowledge on the concept and tool could effectively manage their project & make more profits
Primavera The course is designed to make the participants a Project Management Professional. Graphic Design Adobe Photoshop: Adobe Photoshop is a graphics editing software program popular for it’s extensive amount of features. Photoshop is currently the leading graphics editing application. Photoshop is an image creation software as well as an editor. The basis of Photoshop is easy to learn. Photoshop works by altering individual pixels in an image as opposed to a vector drawing program.
Adobe Illustrator: Adobe Illustrator is a software program that creates and uses vector graphic in a drawing program. It is often used to draw illustrations, cartoons, diagrams, charts and logos. Examples of vector art are a typical company logo, or a technical drawing, or the customized lettering on virtually any commercial product.
Adobe InDesign: Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing software program produced by Adobe Systems. It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers and books. Easily adapt layouts for multiple page sizes, screen sizes, or orientations..
