Branson is one of the top places for live entertainment in America. Branson is full of musical variety and has been helping families create lasting memories for decades. This is the place where all members of the family can come together and be entertained. Below are some highlights of Branson’s shows.
Sight and Sound Theaters produces world-class productions based on bringing the Bible to Life. Be sure to see Queen Esther and Miracle of Christmas in 2024. Followed by the premier of David in 2025. The sets, costumes, singing, dancing, and acting are simply epic.
Dustin Tavella makes his Branson debut after winning America’s Got Talent and spending time in Las Vegas. Check out his all-new magic show at the Reza Live Theatre where he weaves storytelling and his magical artistry to wow audiences.
You have probably seen Branson’s Famous Baldknobbers, as it was the first live music show in Branson. It opened in Branson 65 years ago and is still going strong. Today, the Baldknobbers show is presented in two different formats: a modern, fast-paced country show, and a vintage show, much like the one that was performed in the 1960s-70s. They are now located at the Hughes Music Theatre. SIX is a show that creates indelible memories.
The Knudsen Brothers began as street performers in LA while in their teens and, today, have the longest-running acapella group in the world—and one of the best! SIX makes for a fun-filled two hours at the Pepsi Legends Theater.
Perhaps you remember visiting Shepherd of the Hills on a childhood trip to Branson. If so, you may
be surprised to learn that it offers much more than just the Outdoor Drama that began in the 1960s, which is still happening. WhoDunnit Hoedown Murder Mystery, The Great American Chuckwagon Dinner Show, Wild West Murder Mystery, The Million Dollar Quartet Dinner Show, and Gold Wing Express are all a part of the 2024 lineup at Shepherd of the Hills. During the Christmas season, one can also enjoy A Shepherd’s Christmas Carol Dinner Show and A Christmas Story Dinner Show There is one theater in Branson that offers some of Branson’s hottest shows: Clay Cooper Theatre. Clay Cooper’s Country Express is a world-class, country music variety show featuring a large cast, great live music, dancing, and comedy. You’ll fall in love with Clay Cooper and his cast. The Haygoods rock Branson with their special effects, smooth harmonies, dancing, and so much more. This family doesn’t hold anything back when it comes to entertaining. Another show that will leave you with great memories and a rhythm in your step is #1 Hits of the 60s at Clay Cooper Theatre. It is a favorite of both adults and kids who visit Branson. With a decade of Top 40 hits to choose from, they mix it up season after season. You can also find Hot Rods and High Heels show, a tribute to the music of the 50’s, and Dean Z, one incredible Elvis tribute artist.
The Duttons represent the best in Branson family entertainment. Their show includes bluegrass, classical, and everything in between. The Duttons are a close-knit family and, before the show is over, you, too, will feel a part of it.
We know for certain that once you see Illusionist Rick Thomas, you will never forget him. He adapts
The Hughes Music Show, the one that most of us grew up watching, features the world’s largest performing family in Branson. The Hughes awardwinning Christmas show is a Branson hit. Their other show called RE-VIBE features a new generation of the Hughes family creating their own memories on stage.
The King’s Castle Theatre also offers a variety of Branson favorites. Rock on to Anthems of Rock. Groove to the Ultimate 70’s show, experience the International hits of Dublin Tenors and Celtic Ladies, or hear the hits of New Jersey Nights. Be sure to check out their new show: Cirque: Electric Dreams this summer. Branson’s Christmas Wonderland is a hit during Ozark Mountain Christmas. Legends in Concert tugs on your heartstrings where they remember big names like Elvis, The Blues Brothers, Johnny Cash, and Michael Jackson. World-class magician Dave Hamner and his wife Denise make memories of their own in Branson at Hamners’ Unbelievable Variety Show. You will never forget the birds that appear out of nowhere! Several other rocking shows can be seen at the theater as well such as Kings of Disco, Back to the Bee Gees, Beach Boys: California Dreamin, Thank You for the Music: A Modern Tribute to ABBA, and Mike Walker: Lasting Impression.
Grand Country Music Hall offers a number of memorable shows in their schedule, including Grand Jubilee, Comedy Jamboree, Pets and Giggles, Down Home County, New South Gospel, Ozarks Country, Ozarks Gospel, and Branson Country USA. The Petersens is an authentic Ozarks music show with bluegrass, clean comedy, and a family-friendly experience. Some of this music is as old as the hills but fresh as a daisy. The Petersens opened for Garth Brooks when he was in the area. Branson Hot Hits Theater located in downtown Branson offers a small intimate setting to catch a variety of Branson acts from Motown Downtown: A Tribute, DooWop and More, Queens of Soul, Stevie Wonder and More Soul, Platters: The Golden Sounds of the 50s Tribute, to The Best of Dean Martin and Patsy to Pstsy. Dalena Ditto takes you on a country music journey in her hit show Country Evolution. The Branson Murder Mystery Dinner show is a family favorite with a delicious buffet to satisfy your taste buds. Solve the all-new “Murder at the Town Vote” hilarious live dinner theater experience. Yes, Branson entertainment truly has something spectacular for everyone to enjoy. From country and pop to magic and comedy, there are shows that will be sure to please.

This annual ritual, akin to a dance of adaptation, sees shows relocating to new theaters, sometimes altering their performance schedules, and keeping audiences intrigued as they await the unveiling of their favorite acts’ new homes.
For the 2024 season, several notable moves have been made as of press time:
The show that started it all, The Famous Baldknobbers, moves to the Hughes Brothers Theater on W. 76 Country Blvd. Mike Walker also moves to the Hughes Brothers Theater. Nashville Roadhouse Live moves to the Pierce Arrow Theater.
Absolutely Country, Definitely Gospel moves to the Little Opry Theater in the Imax Complex. Buckets and Boards Percussion Comedy Show and Phil Dalton Theatre of Illusion move to the REZA Live Theatre. The Morace Family moves to God and Country Theater.

The Americana Theatre adds Southern Gospel Sundays w/ The Frosts and the legendary performer, Jay Osmond to their lineup.
Branson Hot Hits Theater adds two new shows: Stevie Wonder & More Soul and Queens of Soul.
The Duttons Immersive Theater is adding a new show called Where Jesus Walked. It is an immersive experience that uses all 360 degrees of the theater.
Grand Country Music Hall replaces Amazing Pets
Reza Live Theatre formerly Branson Famous Theater adds several new shows: Aaron Wayne’s Sweet Dreams Comedy Hypnosis Show, Dustin Tavella’s Now I See Show, and MJ the Illusion: Reliving the King of Pop.
The Shepherd of the Hills debuts a brand new show in the outdoor amphitheater. Shepherd’s Wild West Murder Mystery. This show runs from Jun 3 through Aug 14, 2024.
The Million Dollar Quartet Dinner Show begins a full season after debuting later in 2023 at Shepherd of the Hills’ Play House and includes a meal. Relive the night Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis all came together at Sun Studios.
The Miracle of Christmas returns for a run in November and December of 2024 followed by the debut in 2025 of David at the Sight and Sound Theatre.
