The Americana Theatre adds Southern Gospel Sundays w/ The Frosts and the legendary performer, Jay Osmond to their lineup.

Branson Hot Hits Theater adds two new shows: Stevie Wonder & More Soul plus Queens of Soul.

The Duttons Immersive Theater is adding a new show called Where Jesus Walked. It is an immersive experience that uses all 360 degrees of the theater.

Grand Country Music Hall replaces Amazing Pets with a new show called Pets and Giggles.

The Sound of Simon & Garfunkel debuts in September of 2024 at Hamners' Variety Theater

At Jerry Presley’s God and Country Theater three new shows debut. A Garth Tribute, Johnny Cash and Friends, as well as, Sounds of Sinatra and Friends.

King’s Castle Theatre debuts CIRQUE: Electric Dreams.

The Shepherd of the Hills debuts a brand new show in the outdoor amphitheater. Shepherd’s Wild West Murder Mystery. This show runs from Jun. 3 through Aug. 14, 2024.

The Million Dollar Quartet Dinner Show begins a full season after debuting later in 2023 at Shepherd of the Hills’ Play House and includes a meal. Relive the night Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis all came together at Sun Studios.

The Miracle of Christmas returns for a run in November and December of 2024 followed by the debut in 2025 of David at the Sight & Sound Theatre.

When you’re looking for something out of the ordinary to do in Branson, there are a few places you need to check out. The best part about them: they’re completely free!

College of the Ozarks: This college isn’t like other colleges you may have seen. There are some really unique free experiences here. The Gaetz Tractor Museum features a variety of antique tractors and farm equipment. Watch students grind whole-grain meal and flour at Edwards Mill. Tour the Fruitcake and Jelly Kitchen which has been producing the world famous fruitcakes for over 85 years. Be sure to visit the Patriots Park while you are there.

The Branson Centennial Museum in downtown Branson is a free museum. See the history of the Ozarks and the Branson area. You’ll be fascinated with the history of Branson, its entertainers, and people. It is located on South Commercial Street.

Take a walk along Lake Taneycomo at Branson Landing. Catch the fountain show in the town square of Branson Landing with the first ever merging of water, lights, fire and music. Shows run every hour at the top of the hour from noon until 10pm.

Dewey Short Visitor Center near Table Rock Dam provides guests with unique exhibits, including a state-of-the-art interactive map of Table Rock Lake, beautiful artistic wall murals, and a replica of an Ozarks bluff complete with local flora and fauna. A Native American artifact exhibit and Ozarks dioramas are fascinating features of the interpretive center. An interactive water safety exhibit demonstrates the importance of wearing a life jacket, and an expansive cut-away model reveals the inner workings of a hydroelectric dam. The fascinating history of the Corps of Engineers rounds out the exhibits. Guests can also walk or jog along the connecting trails while taking in the beautiful views of the Table Rock Lake on the Table Rock Lakeshore Trail.

This trail is paved and easy to walk.

The Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area offers spectacular views of the countryside from the lookout and observation tower. Guests are invited to take a stroll on the self-guided nature trail. The Henning Conservation Area is located on 1,530 acres of scenic Ozark backcountry and provides guests with the opportunity to explore on paved trails and natural surfaces.

Located at the corner of W 76 Country Blvd and Fall Creek Rd, and across from Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater, the Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area is where you can discover the old Owen homestead, cave, and numerous trails overlooking Lake Taneycomo.

Q. Do you have to dress up to go to a show?

A. There is not a dress code requirement at area theaters but going to a show can be a fun experience. Some visitors may find it fun to dress a little nicer. Depending on the season you may want to bring an extra layer to the theater just in case its cold.

Q. Do I have to pay for parking at a theater or Silver Dollar City?

A. Today all theaters offer free parking. Silver Dollar City has both paid and free parking options.

Q. Do theaters offer concessions?

A. Yes, you can get drinks, popcorn and more at concession stands. Select theaters even offer alcoholic beverages.

Q. Should I buy tickets ahead of time?

A. The sooner you buy your tickets the better the seats you will have. Check out ibranson. com or bransonmissouri.com if you want to buy your tickets online or visit iBranson Ticket Services located in several area hotels. 99% of their ticket prices are box office or less.

Q. What are the colored routes?

A. Colored routes were designed to help visitors use alternative routes to get around Branson quicker. There are three color routes: Yellow, Blue and Red.

Q. Where is the best place to eat in Branson?

A. It all depends on your taste and desire. We recommend

Q. Are there any public beaches on Table Rock Lake?

A. Yes, the closest one to Branson would be Moonshine Beach. This is located by Table Rock Dam on Hwy. 165. Generally open from May 15th thru September 15th with a $5.00 daily car pass. It requires use of credit or debit card. Open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Q. Where do I go if I get sick?

A. Cox Hospital in Branson is our local hospital and is located at 525 Branson Landing Blvd. For non-emergency care, there are several urgent care facilities in the area including Cox Hospital and Mercy.

Q. What about pharmacies, grocery stores, and big box stores?

A. We have a Walmart on the strip, as well as, a Walmart Supercenter and Target in Branson Hills. You will also find Walgreens and CVS in Branson. As far as grocery stores, we have Price Chopper, Country Mart, Harter House and Natures Wonder in the area.

Q. What do I have to do to fish in area lakes?

A. Any Missouri resident, 16 to 64 years old and any non-resident, 16 and older is required to purchase a fishing permit. This can be done online at the Department of Conservation website or by calling 1-800-392-4115. You can also get them at Walmart, BassPro or other fishing retailers.
