Aztec soup. Clumsy parrot. Eat its seeds. Climb pyramids. Naked blindside. Play with vendors. Jaguar sounds. Touch the copper belly button. Maybe a nipple. Markets. Vegetarian right on corner. Nowhere. Look up. Grandmother decor. Adios DF.


Dark Guadalajara morning. Phone just beeps. Wait on KFC corner. Laughter therapy. Everything is business. Fake. Forced. Yet enjoyed by most. Fast broken late. Lunch for dinner. Dinner for breakfast. Flooded streets. Cars splash. Soak. Stall. Clown clinic small. Repressed laughter liberated. Flying Mexicans. Bungee jump spinning. Playing flute. Drums. Incredible ritual.

Enchillada nun chefs. No meat. Just salamé. Tears. Smiles. Perfection. Remove knives from ground. Rain arrives. Stand out sunroof over bridge. Movie like. Tree of life. Planted for abundance. Listen to pyramid schemes. Grandma piñata. Chili gelatos.

Govindas. Is it another country? From floor to floor. Begin again.


Temporary neighbours forever. Cobblestone twisty passageways. Dribbling shower. Foot stamping washing machine. Wander no direction. Buy harp no intention. Hidden mango souchi discovery. Plate licking delicious. Slave prisoners to hairdryers. Red versus Blue karate. Little reinventions improve show. Sky cleared throat. Flashed electric eyes. Cried a downpour. Lip licking pizza. Shelters the drizzle. Hamstrings tuned tightly. Play tired out in parade.

Curve in and out skinny lanes. Lost for moments. Scared every corner. Jef. Long red shoes. Fitting. Contemporary Bump-out. Sesame skulls. Sacred Sunday. Too sacred to cook. Quesadillas. Mucha Quesa. Poca Dilla. Our night to party. Was not tonight.


Dreamt the moon fell. The world tipped. We all slipped. Into new world. Invited in. Singing birds. A home in one room. His. Dusty hats with feathers. Rooster farming awards. Gives me tail feathers. Perform for hundreds. Screams. Laughter. Autographs. Fan Mail. Cross river. School in construction. Rest head on ground. Thighs. Folded clothes. Community converges post catholic class. Mammoth bones. Believe the unbelievable.


Remember when water was free. Anyone could use the toilet. Piss and poo now big business. There is no “plain” tap water. Low in sodium. Purified. Wrapped. Sealed. Stamped. Sold. Privatise. Control. All pleasure will be packaged. Each ovation. Each tingly feeling. Each shine in the eye. Will be barcoded. Human needs feed control´s greed.

Chocolate statue. Dissected. No one can hear the performance. Everyone rushing for chocolate. No one shared. What’s mine is mine. What’s yours is mine too. Korean tea. Mezcal. Stuttering salsa. Dog walks us home. Safety in numbers. Biscuits on window sill. Momentary best friends.


Applaud Pozole cook. Mother´s taste. Eco Tampon saleswoman clown. Leave wet laundry drying in public. Nowhere to be found. Sleep like home. Eat like home. Perform in cold. Then drizzle. Then damp. Parents passing lunch through the school fence. Parents dressed in San Judas robes. Beaten but well eaten. Chofer crosses. Kisses. Fists. Salutes.

Never-ending underground tunnels. Lost laundry found! Silent coffee. Rooftop camping. Deflating comfort. Mourning museum. Death. Transformation. Inspiration for toilet doodling. Flaming crowd chasing chariots. Loose screws. Phone call magic. Bus ticket magic. Magic: the birth of panic and void. End reaching for the present. Numb fingertips.


Haul accumulations through drunk streets. Too much to handle. Wait tired yet watchfully in ternminal. Tacos. Atole. Isolated junk food. Man tells everyone he must wait all day. We all hear. Nobody listens. Pinchy security guard. Shaky bus piss. Haul more. Perform with world class. In drizzle. Spicy roasted chickpeas. Creamy cheesy corny cobs. Trapped in condominium.
