This project was part of a studio master plan for the Fort Point Channel in Boston, Massachusetts. The market serves as the connection point between downtown Boston and the proposed developments on the other side of the channel. The shape of the market is informed by existing buildings, site circulation and the channel. The design includes three main buildings connected by various roofs systems that create a link between the two sides of the channel.

The entirety of the design - the program, site and concept – was inspired by specific experiences and observations while traveling. The intent of the design is to create a connection between the existing school and the community. The pavilion design becomes a new entrance to the school and serves as a public place for people to gather.
