McGregor also received an additional $50,000 for the fight being named as the “Performance of the Night”. In an interview with ESPN before the fight, the 31-year-old was confident that he’ll be getting a hefty purse and thinks it could be his highest that he’ll be receiving in his MMA career. “I’d say about, it could be, I’m estimating a good $80 million. They think I am toast, but I’m still the bread,” said McGregor.

It’s also worth mentioning that although Cowboy didn’t earn close to the $3 million McGregor did, taking home $200,000, it’s still the event’s second-highest purse – which is impressive.
