Setbacks, disruptions, and heartaches cannot always be foreseen and planned for. Every learner is different. Throughout this planner we worked to design space for everyone. From the analytical to the free spirit, my goal is that you feel comfortable, at peace, and encouraged to explore the edges of your creativity. Design explores harmony between form and function. In the MLP layout I implemented neuroscience techniques to trigger memory and inspire without rigidity. The design complements the spirit of the planner, allowing deeper impact of the tools Candyce has compiled and created. One of the most important elements in MLP is the concept of flow. The state of flow is a powerful and creative place to live. We believe that humans are, by nature, creators. Take birth, business ideas, writing reports, cooking, the way you make your environment around you as examples. Whether you connect with your creative self with ease or not, this planner is splattered with soul to defy ”the curse of the blank page” and invite a journey of exploration. In our original planner, the MLP Soul Edition, indigo watercolour inks are integrated. Indigo is one of the first pigments to be used crossculturally as paint, makeup, and a fabric dye. Spiritually, it is the colour of enlightenment. We chose indigo to inspire and anchor you as you find a state of flow.
Each page in your planner is layered with resources. The foundations section opens with examples where we show you how you might fill out some of the key pages. There are call-outs to provide a little encouragement and instruction, and the handwriting to spark inspiration. One of my favourite features are the new teaching call-outs. If you are ready to go deeper into any of these sections, please visit us online where we provide more resources. Along the side of your planner are tabs to help keep you situated wherever you are at in your planner and to allow you to flip back and forth between sections if you’re a rule breaker. Designed in quarters, you can begin wherever you like in your year and fill in the quarter you are working in. A life-changing keepsake planner! This next year is going to be one to remember, especially with these new tools to support you. Created from years of courses, classes, and experiences, My Life Planner is your destination to interrupt patterns of defeat and transform the way you live, lead, and work. To do so, it’s going to require a commitment to change, plan, and fail. All of it is ok, and all of it is expected. If you find yourself in a start and stop, committed to your planner then forgetting about it, have some grace for yourself and pick it up wherever you left off. Remember, “the best time to start is now” and keep moving towards crushing your goals! Getting into a state of flow can happen in different ways. It could be unstructured and start with inspiration, or it could be a scheduled exploration session. Having dates in your calendar that are set aside for you are important to keep yourself accountable and growing. If you’re having a hard time “getting
in the mood,” create environments and rituals that allow you to really go there. Burn a candle, diffuse some oils, and play whatever music you are in the mood for and open yourself up to new possibilities. Please don’t feel like you have to fill out the entire planner in one afternoon. Answering one question or section at a time is a wonderful start. I would encourage you, however, to dig deep into your ideal week and make dates for your year that you protect. There are a lot of open spaces throughout the planner that you can fill and organize, in a way that makes sense to you. We haven’t labeled each of these as “notes” or “goals” or “overview” or brainstorm” or any of that clutter because how you use your space, just as how you use your time, is up to you! Creating rituals and time to answer the different sections in your own keepsake will keep you on track and allow you to go deeper into yourself than you ever could have imagined!
DO I NEED TO WRITE IN THE LINES? My Life Planner is designed with boxes that have faded edges. If you need to live in neat boxes, we hinted at them throughout. If you’re a wild child and color all over the lines, go for it. Doodle, scribble, come up with your own structure. In some places, like your weekly calendar, you will notice blank boxes with no titles. These are for things that are important to you (for example your mood, daily themes, daily goals...) and they are there for you to decide the best way to organize yourself. As the leaders of our lives it is important to be mindful of different learning and exploration styles. If you’re not sure what yours is, try to set an environment for exploration and start playing! 10

What worked well? Why? My team really took ownership of their retail sales this month and I was thrilled with their progress! I think I can help them explode their commissions next month.
What didn’t? Why? Less appointments were scheduled than regular, but it worked out because we had more walk ins. I think there was not enough of a push on social media in March to book ahead.
